Room was great, large wetroom and comfy bed but no air conditioning and it was a quite warm.
I had dinner in the hotel but the salad was rather dry with very little of the dressing promised and some ingredients missing.

Nichts. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit.

There was parking and the building looked modern and well kept. The staff were so very very friendly and I mean all the staff . They made us feel like family and were genuinely interested in us xx

The room and king size bed, the staff were very friendly and helpful
The hairdryer in the room didn’t reach to the mirror so couldn’t dry my hair properly

We chose this property for its proximity to the river and the fact it had a carpark.
It takes about 25 minutes to walk into the city centro (monument station).
The wifi was a did iffy but that was being fixed the day we left.
3.9
Centrally located just across the river
3.9
Clean and comfortable room. Easy access to the Quayside and into town.
3.9
Great value for a hotel so close to city centre. Excellently appointed rooms. Spotlessly clean room.
Staff really genuinely friendly.
Walk in shower got bathroom floor a little wet but stopped that with the bath mat. Minor point.
Everything else fine.

The property was in a great location for the “Glasshouse”
I know this is temporary and nothing to do with the hotel, but the access road led us onto a bus lane which looked out of commission due to building work. I got a fine for driving in a bus lane. The area around the hotel is a building site and still the council charges motorists. We’ll go back when the building work is over. Sorry but the Council does the area no favours.

Nice comfy, spacious rooms. Helpful staff, very nice breakfast
The £10 car park charge is, I feel very very expensive.
I understand if they charge commuters to park there, but not guests

The property was in a good location and the breakfast was great. The bed was huge as two single were secured together which was fine.
On having a shower there was no threshold between the shower and toilet/sink. The floor had at some point dropped which resulted in the shower water flooding the sink/toilet area. It was obvious that this was an ongoing problem as the door into the ablutions was water strained and rotten. The only way to stop it was to roll up a towel and use that as a threshold. It would be an easy fix is someone in maintenance were to fix a small plastic threshold to prevent this from happening.
3.9
The bed was comfy and it was very spacious in the room.
The kitchen staff are amazing and very friendly.
The toilet had a crack in it and the TV was very small

Staff were excellent.
Breakfast options were good.
It was clean although curtains in our room were looking tired.
Not enough car parking spaces are available, esp as you pay £10 per night.
Hardly any plug sockets in the room.
Outside the hotel, particularly the side and back of the hotel were covered in litter.
Was woken at 0615 on Sunday by a couple in the room below us fighting, shouting, screaming and then female crying. This went on for over an hour. It was very distressing to hear. Did report to reception.

The Hotel was ok and fitted all our needs but the staff were the most pleasant, helpful, accommodating and delightful bunch of human beings I have had the luck to have met. Geordie hospitality is normal but these guys are exemplary. the lovely staff at breakfast were, in Tina Turner’s words, ‘Simply the best’. For a crowd of girls doing a job, early morning and in the most part, thankless, they were all ‘simply delightful’ and the best!
Well done girls and thank you so much for making breakfast so special. Please give them a raise!
Kind Regards
Paddy McCreanor.

Room was not cleaned each day nor were we given clean towels each day. No clean cups and tea/coffee and milk were not replenished each day.

Location. Was clean and warm. Ready to check in as soon as we got there. Earlier than we first thought.
Staff was very helpful. Used the gym too. Small but clean and equipped.
3.9
Great location for what we wanted.
Not the best of breakfasts. Mostly barely warm and bacon bland and chewy.
3.9
The room was quite large with comfy bed, clean and warm with large shower and plenty of towels. Most importantly it was 🤫 despite some revelers staying for a stag night. There was a kettle and some coffee and tea bags etc which were welcome. Reception were friendly.
Location was a little out of the way for me but worth it for the price and could still walk into town. Could maybe do with a bit of an update soon which would make the rooms nicer.
3.9
Not much to report as I just stayed one night and didn't have breakfast. It's a standard modern hotel with everything you'd expect of a room.
The double bed was fine as a single, but I thought a couple might find it a bit small.
3.9
Property is near and clean and the old lady during the breakfast was very friendly and at help
Bed was too small for a couple and had to change the room but even that wasn’t comfortable. No fridge or water in room. No toiletries or even shampoo in bath room.
3.9
The staff. Well trained, attentive and very appropriately friendly. Fine breakfast, clean comfortable room.

The staff are friendly, and the hotel is well located. We paid £50 per night for two nights which we felt was good value given how close it is to the Tyne.
There are some mental health patients / homeless people who seem to be around at different times of the day. On one of the nights I was asked by a man on a bike outside the front door if I worked at the hotel and if so did I look after asylum seekers. I explained I was just a guest but maybe the hotel need to monitor this as some guests might find this intimidating.

The staff
The pillows there was only 4 on the bed two extra would have been a nice option like most hotels
3.9
The location and the gym
The price was too high
3.9
Handy location, great staff, plenty of parking, clean room
Bedside lighting only on one side.

This hotel is one of my favourite places to stay in the UK.
The wonderful team offers the finest customer service, always striving to exceed expectations.
The communal areas are welcoming, warm and presented very well.
The modern rooms are nicely decorated, well-appointed and spotlessly clean.
Highlight for me on this occasion was the awesome bed with an extremely comfortable mattress, superb clean crisp linen, great duvet and pillows.
The bathroom was also spotlessly clean and well-presented.
The location is a little remote, but a bus links the station and city centre from an adjacent stop close to the hotel.
The best place to stay in Gateshead/Newcastle for value for money and customer service.
3.9
Although the hotel and staff were great, when we stripped the beds on leaving there was a large brown stain on the mattress topper. We informed staff but are yet to hear from them.
Just the above

Our room was superb, clean & comfy. Staff all very friendly. Good location to get to city, Sage, Quayside. Breakfast & evening meal very good.
Heating in room wasn't working, didn't report it.

Perfect location for the Glasshouse and Baltic. Great Breakfast and breakfast staff
3.9
Decent accommodation
The wifi was very poor
3.9
Really comfortable rooms (bed was lovely) - has all the facilities you need in the room, with a nice restaurant and bar area down in reception. The location was fantastic, only a 15/20 min walk into the city centre, with plenty of places to see en route. Would highly recommend this hotel, thanks for a lovely stay.
Nothing to complain about. The staff are very friendly from start to finish (reception & bar) even though we were a stag do group, they never made it feel like we were unwanted.
3.9
The check-in was efficient. The staff were friendly and helpfull and sociable. Breakfast was reasonable but would have been improved if a cold service had been available. Not everyone needs a cooked breakfast.
Parking was ideal and reasonably priced.
The room was very average and the bedroom furniture had seen better days. Considering we had a free upgrade to a King room, not sure what benefits this brought.
There was no air conditioning hence we had to have the window open and early morning traffic was a real issue.
As well as paying guests there appeared to be other people there, origins unknown, and during our breakfast they appeared in person, to collect a small food parcel within the restuarant . I believe this was out of place in a hotel of this name and not acceptable.

The hotel was amazing
