the area is beautiful , the house is super nice everything’s clean can accommodate a lot of people . the staff were amazing . there are rivers on both sides of the house
everything was great

Stunning location ideal for walkers.
No mobile access. No Internet. No TV. No internal staircase. You had to exit the kitchen/sitting area to outside to access the bedroom and bathroom. Not too bad in good weather but in inclement weather not good at all as with no gutters all the drainage from the roof arrives directly on your head. Also the rain arrives directly into the kitchen.

First, the meeting point is in a village close to the house. Everything is well explained by the host.
Joana gave us a warm welcome and check in.
It is a few steps from where you park the car until you reach the house. We stayed in the ground floor apartment, with two rooms and the kitchen next door. They also have a larger apartment as well, better for families or 2 couples.
The room has a good size and the double bed is extremely confortable.
Well-equiped kitchen, Nice outdoor space to have breakfast with a view or to enjoy the sun,
Very quiet place and mobile signal is very low so it is perfect if you want to relax and disconnect from the world. They have wi fi but it was a little bit slow.
We went with our dog who loved the place as well.
Not staying another night

Location: Quiet and calm place at the end of the world. Birds sing, stream splashes and hums, stars sparkle. A nice place to unplug and rest.
Hotel: A renovated traditional home divided into two parts. The apartment is located at the upper part (with an entrance at the ground level) and lower part (with a separate entrance from another level of ground) belongs to another owner. The apartment is independent from the other part. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room. There is a terrace shadowed by a living green roof and equipped with a grill.
Bedrooms: relatively small, but the living room compensates the size.
electric sockets: easily accessible in enough number
lighting: OK
Bed: comfortable, enough hard
Bathroom: large and comfortable, water was not very hot, but enough to take a shower
WiFi: OK, works good taking into account that there is no mobile network
Mobile network: none
Staff: Good contact before arrival. The check-in procedure is a little bit strange, but fit the conditions. You must stop in Alvar (ca. 6 km from the apartment) near the fire station and call Joana. The fire station is located at the entrance to the village at it is easily visible from the N2 road you drive. Joana appeared in 10 minutes and lead us (in her car) through the bendy and narrow roads to the apartment. She was nice and explained us everything about the apartment. The check-out is simple as you just leave the key in the apartment.
Parking: A parking place by the road (important as the road is narrow).
Location: Lack of any restaurant and grocery shop is a price you pay for the remote location. Make your shopping in advance and bring your food with you. The apartment is located at the steep slope below the road. You must carry your bags down (and later up) 25 stairs.
Bathroom: not enough ventilated, traces of stain in the shower cabin

The sound of the river
Poor WiFi, not enough hot water in the shower
7.0
Remote location, good to rest and appreciate silence. Roads not bad.
No cellphone service and no wireless included, no communications at all. We only were advised of it on the day of check-in. Which was too late to change anything. Had to drive about 3/4 km to have some networks
7.1
The shale typical house among the village and the nice local people. The calm nature sounds and the silence.
Although we have requested an extra bed for our child, there were no bedsheets available for it. The double bed was short and the room as a whole could be more clean.
