The location was good, the rooms were good.
It was a shame that there was no indoor swimming pool

I read the previous negative reviews so I came in with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff (Koreans in their 20's) were quite friendly although they didn't really speak English. The long hallways were clean and seemed to have a fairly recent coat of white paint on them. The hall floor was a newish looking grey tile that was actually made of vinyl. The room was fairly large (but not as large as I thought it would be) and was divided into two halves. One room had a single bed and the other had a single and double bed. The air conditioner (in one room only) worked well as did the wifi. The floor was made of a fairly new looking vinyl that had the appearance of light colored wood. Unfortunately, the shower did not have a curtain and the white towels are small (it's not easy to dry yourself after showering but there is a hair dryer). There was also body soap and shampoo provided. There was a TV in one of the rooms but I didn't watch it. There is no coffee maker in the room and there is no restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is in a very good location and is about a 25-minute walk to the beach (mostly going down a hill and then further down a very, very long set of wooden stairs). Of course, it's not a lot of fun going back up all the stairs but it is good exercise. There is a 7-11 store on the bottom floor of the hotel and there's ample free parking. The hotel is located close to the fancy Lotte Resort (which is far more expensive). There's also a few restaurants nearby (a chicken and beer restaurant, bagel and coffee restaurant, Korean restaurant, Japanese restaurant) in addition to the Teddy Bear Museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. If you drive about 5-15 minutes (in the correct directions), you'll discover more restaurants (including McDonalds). Overall, I felt the hotel was a good deal and was pleased to see the owners had done some fairly inexpensive but decent renovations.
I wrote a lot above that explains most of my experiences. One thing people should be aware of, though, is that the outdoor pool is only filled with water during a few weeks during the summer. I believe the hotel website lists what weeks the pool is open, but you could call the hotel to find out as well (as long as you have someone who speaks Hangul do the talking for you).

Spacious and very well located
The sea view was limited, water pressure of the bath not enough
4.5 / 5.0
Location for an affordable price.
Probably the best place in Jeju if we take in consideration the very good location and big size of room that we get for money that we paid.
