This place is just amazing. Located in a deep valley, so I felt like I was completely isolated from civilization. It was a perfect getaway trip. The staff is super kind and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. It has so many onsen pools, and they all have an amazing view looking at the stream. Even the bartender was such a lovely guy and served many good Japanese whiskeys. I am definitely going back!

The facility was just beautiful, our room with its private baths, the multiple guest baths and the food was all superb. The unexpected trip to the bridge to see the fireflys was delightful. We loved the stay!

A big thanks to all the staffs. They are super helpful and friendly. Basically they take care everything since you step foot into the Ryokan. It scored 11/10 on my list and most of the credit goes to the staffs.
We spent two nights there, and all the Kaiseki meals are exceptional, from the quality of food, to how they present it. They show case the best of the best. One of my sister is a vegan, the chef did an amazing job to prepare the vegan meal too.
I admire the interior the most. The building integrate with the mountain, you can truly enjoy the nature and escape from the crowd. Besides the in-room Onsen, there are several Onsens that you can view the waterfall near by. Got to try everyone of them :)
Absolutely Nothing
* Just in case you travel there in the winter season, make sure to get the winter gear for the car.

it was fantasic because it’s close to nature! we could hear waterfalls and the room was great and clean! we got to try three out of five of the family spa onsen and it was a nice onsen experience, albeit it was a bit hard going into the onsen for the first time since it was winter and it was chilly outside! the kaiseki buffet was a wonderful piece of art and delicacy at the same time!
nothing.

It is a Japanese style Inn (ryokan). I found it 20 years ago featured in a magazine since it had just opened. It has aged well and there are even some signs now in English. It has at least 8 natural hot springs baths to enjoy. The food is incredibly good. Worth every penny.

Fantastic service, amazing food and great onsen all with an incredible ambiance.
