Welcome to our freshly painted 2BR/2BA oceanfront corner condo at the luxurious Anderson Ocean Club Resort & Spa in central Myrtle Beach. Our home is replete with a brand new sofa bed couch with a 4" mattress, a brand new Simmons BeautySleep Kenosha King-size Mattress Set with a 3" mattress topper, new high-thread count sheets and comforters, Nautica, Waverly, or Ralph Lauren comforters, new microwave, 3 new digital and Smart flat-screen televisions, new dishwasher, high-end stainless steel Cuisinart cookware, and top-of-the-line furnishings. The building is styled in Moroccan and Spanish Colonial architecture.
We love the location but even more the wrap-around balconies off the living room and master and private balcony off the 2nd bedrooms, providing wide, long-range ocean views and extra privacy.
The master bedroom has a Sealy Posturepedic king bed, en suite full bath, and flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom has 2 Sealy Posturepedic double beds, a flat screen TV, and a full bath across the hall, which also services the common areas. A queen-size sleeper sofa is located in the living room along with a third flat screen TV. Complementary cable includes HBO & ESPN. As one should expect, there are no additional fees for linens or towels.
The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with cherry-wood cabinets, granite counters, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave, Cuisinart Coffee 12-cup coffeemaker, a Shark hand vac and vacuum, etc. Other amenities include cable/satellite, complimentary wireless Internet access, telephones with voicemail, washer/dryer, and an iron and ironing board.
Amenities at the Anderson Ocean Club include The Awakening Spa – a full-service day spa located on the 4th floor, which offers massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, dry and wet therapy rooms, a full-service hair and nail salon located on the 3rd floor, sauna, a 200-foot oceanfront sundeck, valet parking (USD 8.00 per day-full stay required), indoor heated pool, indoor heated kiddie pool, a 12-person indoor hot tub, 2 outdoor pools, an outdoor lazy river, outdoor hot tub, and a fitness center located on the 3rd floor offering 4 treadmills, 4 elliptical machines and 1 universal machine in one of the largest fitness centers you will find in an oceanfront resort. There is also a seasonal oceanfront bar, high-tech saline chlorination system for silky smooth and sparkling water, valet parking, and room service. Surprise Guest Find!
The best fossil beds in the area from what I have learned and after years of searching for teeth and fossils is from 2nd Avenue Pier South about 1/4 mile. That stretch has an area that has a sort of shelf back at the very edge of where the water hits at low tide. And it washes up lots of fossils!
We found 100+ nice pieces this last trip and at least a few nice great white teeth also. Several fossilized pieces of bone or larger teeth, coral.. etc. And dozens of whole shells.
That is where a lot of the ppl that live locally and come regularly to hunt teeth go also. At low tide you can walk out where the waves break and if you have a net you can scoop up nice shells and sift out some teeth/fossils also.

This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach. Jules was very easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions quickly. Her condo was perfect for our family. The location was right on the beach and easy to get to many different resturants. We loved the resort and everything it had to offer.

I took three 80+ year old family members for a few days at the beach. The location is very convenient; the staff extremely accommodating; and the condo was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The “girls” very much enjoyed the beautiful view and had a wonderful time. Jules responded immediately to my questions and made us feel at ease and welcome from the start. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for pure relaxation!

The condo was everything the listing said it would be. We had a great experience. I have stayed in great condos in Alabama and Florida and this one was right up there with the best of them. The communication with the property owner was the best experience I have had. Julie made everything so easy, she was great getting back to me promptly. We will be staying at Julie’s condo in the future.

The condo itself is a corner unit that gives nice views of the ocean from either bedroom and through the sliders that lead to the balcony off the living room. It is on the fifth floor which is high enough so the noise is mostly limited to the sound of the surf. Nicely appointed, comfortable seating and bedding, and a kitchen large enough with cookware to cook like you do at home. The hosts were very clear in their instructions about arriving and leaving, which was helpful. They were also very responsive to any texts I sent them. For a week by the sea in Myrtle Beach, we found it to be good value and perfectly located.

Wonderful condo with fantastic ocean front views! The condo was very clean and had everything we would have needed. The location was close enough to Broadway at the Beach and the Boardwalk, yet far enough away that we didn’t feel like we had any of that traffic. Free mini golf across the street that we forgot to do because we were so busy with other activities!! I can’t say enough great things about the property owner - she is superb with communication and is prompt to answer questions. The only thing - and this has nothing to do with the owner - save yourself the headache and just bypass the front desk. They have absolutely no information about you or for you since the booking is through VRBO - just head on up to the room and start enjoying your stay!

My family and I had a great vacation! The room was as advertised. A wrap-around balcony with great coastline views, a spacious 2BR, a full kitchen with all dishware and utensils, and great beach access. The resort was spotless and the beds were comfortable. If I had any criticism, it would be, the furniture was in good shape and clean but dated.

Everything was fairly easy for 2 couples in our late 70’s. It was a little uncomfortable having to walk over to the parking garage that was about a block away, but we managed. The condo was nice and spacious. It could have been a little more tidy. . . Paint cans in the closets, open packages of food in kitchen cabinets, furniture a little worn and dusty. The bed in the primary bedroom had a foam rubber pad on it that made it hard to turn over. The beds in the secondary bedroom were very comfortable. Linens were clean but comforters needed a little refreshing. Overall, all of our needs were met and we had an enjoyable getaway. We were happy with our stay.

We were very pleased with our stay - Julie always answered either emails or phone call immediately, which takes the stress out of renting. The condo had a beautiful view of the ocean. My only issue was the chaos in the garage with people unloading their cars. My recommendation would be to wait until after 5:00 to check in. Thanks Julie!
