Super dejligt sted med gode værter - vil booke igen en anden gang.

Dejligt værelse, som havde en god størrelse og et godt brusebad med varmt vand. God introduktion til byen ved ankomst og generelt meget venligt personale. Vi fik også lov til at låne badehætter gratis til de termiske bade.

Fantastic hospitality

Incredible stay and probably the best hospitality I had experienced in Ecuador! Saulo was full of advice and very patient with my limited Spanish (he speaks many languages but recognised I wanted to practice my Spanish so helped me with this). He gave me great advice on what I could do and was really flexible. He let me borrow a shower cap and a towel to use in the termas. He gave great recommendations on food and clearly has very high emotional and cultural intelligence from the interactions I had with him, very interesting and genuine person. His father was also very kind and helped answer my endless questions as well. I stayed in the dorm which was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and the kitchen was clean and simple.

Que lindos los anfitriónes, nos ayudaron en todas las preguntas que tuvimos! Era perfecto! La cocina era muy practio a nosotros, habitacion muy comodo! La ubicacion es excelente y las habtaciones eran limpio!

La ventana de nuestra habitacion era cerca de la calle. Fue un poco bullicioso altas hora de la mañana.

Comme à la maison

Par où commencer ? Nous devions rester 2 jours nous en sommes resté 7. Nous avons été parfaitement accueilli, avec nos hôtes solaires et joviales. Informations très complètes, chambres avec salle de bain. La femme de ménage passe une à deux fois par jour. Les draps et les serviettes sont régulièrement changé. Vous pouvez cuisiner, et laver votre linge sans soucis. Il y avait toujours un « Comment ça va ? Qu’est ce que vous faites aujourd’hui ? Vous avez besoin de quelques choses ? ». Sans oublier la mascotte Canella, l’adorable petite chienne. Même si vous avez peur des chiens, elle vous fera changé d’avis et se fait petite. Un immense merci d’avoir pris soin de nous.

Perfecto.

Todo en el alojamiento estaba muy bien. Las habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, la cocina común con todo lo necesario y siempre muy ordenada. La familia que lleva el hotel es encantadora y siempre nos ayudaron en todo lo necesario. La perrita Canela es un amor. Ha sido una estancia fantástica.

If you find yourself in Baños, this is a good option

The hostel owners are great and they create a good atmosphere. Considering that Baños is a total tourist trap, their info about what to do around is very welcomed.

No lockers for valuables. Also, Baños is a noisy party town, so even if this house is luckily a bit out of the main party area, you might hear noise by night.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the owners were super helpful with information on Baños and tours available as well as other things going on in town. other travellers were friendly, kitchen had everything we needed and they have a laundry service which is always a big help!

Our stay couldn’t have been better!

Relaxed vibe, great host (the son speaks perfect English and had great food recommendations), close to the center, spacious and we were happy to finally swop some books! if you plan to do a tour (we did a wild water rafting tour) you should book it through the hostel. Was a great experience!

Excellent stay and staff. Very helpful for information regarding Banos and activities. Can book rafting/canyoning for the next day at very good prices.

Some rooms on the side of the road can be a bit noisy (not a lot of traffic, but some trucks)

The perfect Hostel to stay in Baños!

Warm welcome from the owners, the son and his father Victor! They took the time to explain to us everything there was to do/see in Baños in addition to lending us bathing caps for free for the Thermals (obligatory on site). Excellent value for money, really clean, very hot shower water, great proximity to the center!

lovely spot, highly recommend!

The staff were amazing and so helpful with information about the town! The room was big and felt like a little cabin inside :) The water pressure was amazing and hot. A short walk to everything! The adorable pup Camilla was always welcoming and lovely to be with!

Super lovely staff and a good location :)

The staff were really helpful and very attentive. The hostel was in a good location to get to things quickly, including the bus station. The shower was fabulous and it was super clean. Thank you for having us :)

We found it quite noisy during the night but this could depend on where you’re situated in the hostel, as our friend who stayed in a different room said she didn’t find the same. We found the beds in our room quite uncomfortable also - the pillows are quite hard and the bunk beds were quite rickety!

Hotel Princessa Maria is the perfect place for any visitor to Baños—no matter what language you speak!

Great location for being close to town center but far enough to be quiet. Very walkable. Much beauty in the building and furnishings; bedding was perfect; laundry arrangement awesome (pay a little have it done while you’re out); flowers in the garden and owners so very helpful!

Very good

Super nice owners, very helpful in explaining everything there is to do. They also charge 5,- less for activities than other hostels (20,- for canyoning). You get a clean towel every day and the showers are really nice.
