Good for bacpackers only

Well the Hostel is trully what it is - a backpackers paradise with helpful staff.

But with all what it brings with it. We booked a room for 3, but ended in room with bunkbeds for 5and it was really small and crowded. I can't imagine how 5 people could fit there. The beds were clean but the rest was little bit under-mantained and messy. Sometimes we did not have hot water in the shower. The common room was a dark den full of interesting travellers drinking cheap local beer but also full of cats and dogs sleeping on every couch, so we had no intention to sit there with them. The breakfast was served in the same room and was very simple. Don't use their laundry service as it is quite expensive and they lost one of our bags and found it the next day but still dirty, so it caused us some troubles. We rented bikes and went for the route of waterfalls which was nice.

Great hostel for a base in Banos

Great hostel, private rooms are spacious and clean, so many activities booked through the hostel at good prices, the drinks are cheap, laundry is super efficient, Sebastian is a great host and the evenings are really social and fun, would recommend!!

Great hostel is great

Quiet, comfortable rooms, good selection and prices in the bar, and overall great location and facilities.

The blanket was a bit too heavy for the climate and the portion of the window that opened wasn't the biggest so we found it a bit hot for sleeping.

They didn't respect my reservation

They cancelled my reservation without notice. I wrote to their Whatsapp before and they never answered. The person who picked my call was very rude.

the breakfast was delicious. honestly worth the extra few $. the rooms were nice and the showers were hot. beds were comfy but the rooms got stuffy.

the 'manager' was hit or miss if you are a woman. either he tries to hit on you or he ignores you completely (: you know how it goes

Good not great hostel

Fun areas to hangout and the people staying were awesome.

Bathroom in the private room had a wall that didn’t go all the way to the ceiling which is not ideal when traveling with a friend or partner. There were hairs in the shower and it was wet upon arrival. Each day they made the bed, but there was no locker in the private room so I felt it was more intrusive than anything.

Loved my stay, would recommend.

Breakfast was delicious. The hostel connected me with someone to help me figure out what activities to do in Baños. The community is excellent, and people are really friendly. Access to free drinking water to fill up your bottle. Wifi was good. Staff are friendly.

Location is not right in the middle of the city center, but Baños is small enough that this doesn't make a difference.

Great facility to meet other travelers and in a nice town

Noisy dogs in the neighborhood prevent sleep. There hire bikes are more expensive thsn else where and badly maintained. No apology given for the problems i had with mine and the staff member seemed disinterested in ensuring the bike was repaired for the next user

we stayed on a saturday and the bass of the music was soo loud it made our beds shake ! music stayed on untill 1 in the morning. at 3am a drunk girl that came home let a cat in our room, so we had to get up & catch it …

Really good hostel, great location and great value for money

We had a great stay here and it was a good base for the many activities that Baños has to offer. The breakfast was good and there was a good atmosphere in the common area. The hostel was well situated, within short walking distance from the centre of town.

lots of good people looking to have a good time. the recreation room/bar was well kept with lots of food/drink options. the location is close to town. the people working there are very attentive and accommodating. it was a great place to stay and is highly recommended!

Nice Place, Great Breakfast, But Too Loud

Fantastic breakfast included, nice place to meet other travelers, good price, fire pit, decent wifi.

I didn't realize it would be as much of a party hostel as it is. They would crank up the music in the evenings, which you could hear from the dorms, and sometimes I was woken up.

good bar and activities available. wifi was good and the place was clean.

I was on the top bunk and there was no plugs. also no side to the bed so I don’t feel safe. sharing a dorm there was a lot of noise and lights being turned on. would benefit from some curtains.

Really lovely hostel! Great place to chill or to plan activities and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Dorms are clean and there's a party pretty much every night. Definitely stay here.

The common space also works as a nice restaurant so a few nights it was packed with people coming to eat rather than hostel guests which was a bit weird for the vibe. The food is great though.

Great stay at Great hostels!

Our room was very nice, cozy, and spacious, The bed was super comfortable. Good hot shower. Possibility to organize tours and activities at the hostel. We rented two bicycles and had a good experience for a fair price. Breakfast was okay.

Shared kitchen is very basic, but the hostel has a restaurant with a few meal options.
