Very good
It was a big and stylish home just outside the town. It was quiet and close to the nature with lovely seating are outside. The owner was really nice and helpful. Fine breakfast.

I liked the place and could have stayed a little longer but found it uneasy and uncomfortable.
breakfast was good with fresh boiled eggs.
The man who worked at the guesthouse knocked on my door to ask about breakfast and tours after i retired to bed for consecutive two nights which made me uneasy and apprehensive. I was only the guest, which added to be afraid. Also at every opportunity, he tried to sell me tours with marked-up prices.

Great host, great location and one of my favourite places to stay in Java.
The host was very helpful and friendly. The location is gorgeous. It’s very family friendly and great to stay where you are surrounded by chickens, sheep and a tropical fruit garden.

Don't expect a spring bed, but you will like it anyway.
A laid-back house with simple rooms, weak light bulbs and village flair. Nice sitting areas.
There were no food options in the afternoon and evening. In the rain we couldn't order food, so missing dinner or getting wet was the only option. Buy some extra Indomie, guys, for this case, please.

Dingy and don't arrive during prayer time (which happens 5 times a day so good luck!)
Simple breakfast of egg and noodles provided early for breakfast. Person there went for food in evening. Area roundabout pretty. Will arrange for you to get to temple and back for your things for about 50,000idr.
Very strange experience where I basically had to wait 90 minutes for person working there to finish praying. I didn't mind waiting a short while but he left me in a rather dreary room for well over an hour with no WiFi and hungry. Eventually appeared after 90 minutes. It is difficult to work out how to get to this area in a day so accomodation is worth considering. It is nice to get to temple early before crowds but not as early as guide books say (post COVID and off season). Also borobudur as temple is disappointing as can only access ground and at that only half area. Definitely get a tour (I had Lena - brilliant) as improves what would otherwise be an underwhelming experience. Tour is 150,000idr from official guide as you go in and think a tip, of maybe about 50,000 is expected. Accomodation is good distance from temple so will need some kind of transport there. Also far from any food options. Noisy mosque nearby. I found the place pretty dingy and depressing. Guy working there was ok but not as helpful as write ups. His friend that took me round was better to interact with.

Very clean nice homesaty with very friendly owners
The owner Yudo is very friendly and helpfull. He knows lot o people and surprised us with a visit to a nearby village which was amazing. It is great that there bicycles available to visit the nearby monuments. We arrived quite lat and did have dinner yet, so the owner was so nice to get us some food.
Although it is not cold in the nights, I prefer a sheet together with the blanket. But after asking for sheet, a serong was profided which was perfectly fine.

Superb
Fendi is awesome. He let us borrow his scooter for travelling into Borobudur town. He’s great to have a chat with, and we even ended up changing up our future plans quite a bit based on his recommendations.
