Très bon hôtel très bien situé

Tres bon hôtel parfaitement situé en plein centre piétonnier de la ville (et avec de bons doubles vitrages donc peu bruyant malgré l'animation des terrasses) Grande chambre confortable, bon matelas. Petit déjeuner buffet délicieux.

La vue depuis notre chambre était assez limitée (hôtel assez encaissé des 2 côtés, pas la façade). Une bouilloire dans la chambre serait utile.

good location-careful at the rooms when checking-in - unfriendly personal

the location is everything about this hotel. right in the middle of city centre. very close is the most wonderful caffe in the park - Bonjour Cafe (if you are a coffee lover and also enjoy french music this is the place to be). you can park your car across the hotel for free.

we booked two double rooms. we got instead one double room in standard size which was ok/ spacious and one room more as single room in double regime - significantly smaller, with an awful view (the back of some buildings) and low natural light - we paid the same price for both the staff at reception is not friendly. they didn’t want to change the second room with another that was appropriate to a double room. they said the hotel was full and we were the last to check-in (at 2pm), however we saw other couples checking-in way later then us. they only provided with one set of towels-bathrobe-toiletries-slippers. when we asked for a second set we didn’t receive the small towel nor the toiletries. at reception the guy we talked to said they will find a way to compensate in the morning the fact that one room was smaller (paid at the same price) and that we only had one of towels-bathrobe-toiletries-slippers (both rooms). the next day when we asked the girl at reception she said her colleague didn’t left any information about our troubles. so we left it like that, we were to tired to insist. the breakfast is separated from the hotel in the restaurant sharing the same building. it’s about 10 euros. best is to have breakfast at the terraces / coffee places nearby (e.g. Creme de la Creme)

Nice location but disaster cleanliness

Location was really nice. In the city center, in the walking distance to city sign seeing locations.

I found maggots in the bathroom. This is sort of a disaster. Personal was not really impressed with my finding, which is weird, maybe it is because I was staying for 1 night only and noticed the problem only in the morning.

- location quite ok ,

- poor breakfast ( similar food every morning and not enough if you are going to eat after 9.00 am) - the card to open the door didn't worked for almost one week . Every time when I get back to hotel I have to ask someone from front desk to open the door .

Best location, very nice staff and good value for money.

Very noisy elevator motor, if you get a room near the elevator it will wake you up regularly. Apparently that’s not the case with the other rooms. The water in the shower didn’t run out properly.

Got screwed on parking. Not going back

Centrally located. Room was decent size. There is a very nice meat restaurant next-door but this is hardly the hotel's plus, rather a lucky coincidence.

The staff was rude. The enforcer guy sitting behind the girl attesting to the front desk was rude. The free private parking proudly stated in paragraph 1 of the hotel description turned out to be paid, third-party parking with cash only payment with hourly rate during the day including weekends. He only admitted that I was correct in my understanding/expectations of the free parking after l was forced to park for a fee. Until then he kept pushing me that I misunderstood the concept of free private parking. The block where the hotel is situated is covered in cubble stones. It's the only pedestrian block in the whole city and you can't pull up in a car to the hotel to unload luggage. You literally have to drag suitcases up the hill on that cubblestone pavement. With snow and iice, it was a nightmare. Thenroom was dated, but OK. Bathroom was tired...

Be careful when booking this hotel - noisy place

Staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed.

5 nights out of 10 I spent in the hotel I could not sleep until at least 2 a.m. due to loud music in the restaurant on the ground floor. Staff stated that the restaurant doesn't belong to the hotel and they don't have possibility to end the noise. So be very careful when booking this hotel, if you want to have a quiet accommodation, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. There is also a hidden parking fee of 300MDL (15€) a day and parking slots around the hotel are very limited. WiFi connection is weak from time to time.

Not bad, but could be better

The location is perfect, the general conditions of the facility is good

The room was not cleaned after the last guests, no towels in the bathroom. The temperature in the room was quite high, with heating off and an opened window, no view from the room. I'm ordering a junior suite room at booking.com but it was a common standard room. Also it's very noisy, all neighbours and corridor noises disturbing you in your room. Very slow drain in the bathroom.

the location right in the city center

first of all, the girl at the front desk gave us a small room at the 4th floor which wasn't what I booked (a business double room). I went back to the front desk and asked to change the room which she did. The second room she gave us was on the last floor, the 7th, a bigger room but not the one in the photos on booking (in which we stayed on another occasion). The room had just one pair of towels, just one robe, and the safe was locked. I asked the young lady to give us towels which she did, but the safe was left locked for the entire stay. She was quite upset that I told her that this is not the room I paid for (the first one) and that the second room wasn't properly prepared for two persons. Late in the evening I found out there is another room on top of mine in which a kid was playing with a soccer ball o guess. The entire stay was noise day and night from the room above but also the room next to us in which was a small child crying. No soundproof at all. I guess the ventilation in the bathroom is very poor because sometimes I could smell cigar smoke in there. Not going to ever stay again here. I traveled a bit and I saw more than once that some hotels try to fool the clients with a lesser room than what you book. Maybe these hotels shouldn't be available on this app.
