You'll love this home for a family ski getaway, as it is located only seven miles from Northstar California Resort!
Year-round, make the short drive east to Nevada's casinos for gaming, to see a show, or even a romantic dinner out. Of course, you don't need to drive far to take advantage of the great restaurants in Kings Beach. With over 25 cafes, pubs, and eateries, you'll be able to find a place for a great meal, whether it's a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem or a fancy, fine dining experience.
You'll definitely look forward to returning to this cozy condo after a day (or night) out on the town. This warm and cozy retreat, nestled among the pine trees, has everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
Walking into the home, you'll notice the open feel of the dining room, living room and kitchen, so you can easily socialize no matter where you take a seat. The dining room table seats four, but there's also a convenient breakfast bar for light meals or snacks. Out on the balcony, there's a lovely view of the landscaped community grounds, as well as a gas grill. Grab some steaks or chicken at a nearby grocery store, and have a delicious outdoor cookout. This space is also ideal for crisp sunny mornings waking up with a cup of hot coffee or chatting with your loved one with a glass of wine after dinner.
Similar to the architecture of a town home, this condo is three stories tall. The first level has a comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. The second floor features the open living and dining room. The kids will love climbing all the way to the top and into their own space. Both bedrooms have accessories like bedside tables and lamps for easy nighttime reading in bed and also cozy, colorful bedding. With its two bedrooms, this North Lake Tahoe vacation rental will easily accommodate five guests.
Additional amenities include a washer and dryer, a gas fireplace for chilly nights, and WiFi throughout the condo to help you stay in touch with friends, as well as a stereo with a CD player. The condo is perfect for young families, as you'll also find a booster seat, a Pack 'n Play, and baby gates to make traveling with little ones a breeze! You will love watching DVDs on the new flat screen television or maybe you'll just want to spend a quiet night reading a book, leafing through magazines, or playing board games.
It's only a mile and a half to Kings Beach State Park, so you can spend a sunny afternoon relaxing or playing frisbee on the shore. Pack a picnic lunch and bring a big striped beach blanket for some quality downtime on the edge of crystal clear Lake Tahoe. There's also boating or water skiing to consider, as well as a scenic cruise around the lake. The area is also rich with other outdoor activities like golf at the Old Brockway Golf Course, hiking, biking, or even rock climbing.
And in the snowy winter months, take advantage of the ski season at Northstar! Only a 10 minute drive from the condo, you and your whole family can spend some quality time together downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating, or winter tubing!

Location is hard to beat - so close to trails, the lake and all the best of North Lake Tahoe. We enjoyed the pool and the views out the balconies. The kitchen was stocked with basic tools for making breakfast and easy lunches and dinners.

Have been here in both the winter and summer and it is close to Northstar resort and even closer to the lake. Being next to the park is a big bonus and gives a nice view.

This was a nice and clean place good for 4-5 people. It snowed and would have been nice to have some small shovels for the immediate stairs outside and also for the car. The TV in the bedroom downstairs did not work. But these things were not a big deal for our stay since there was another TV in the living room. The loft bed was very comfortable. Overall a comfortable place to relax and we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the high ceilings and chalet style of this cozy condo. The second bathroom in the loft is also a great feature.

This was a great location, close to the lake, Tahoe city, Norstar, Incline, and Truckee. It was very clean and maintained. We liked the cosy feel. It had everything we needed in the kitchen to make and bake Thanksgiving dinner. I just wish I had known that before we arrived. I was told there was very little, not even plates or utensils. I brought everything to make Thanksgiving dinner and it ended up the place had everything I needed. It was a huge waste of time and space in my car. It was hard to heat the 3 levels of the home. The 1 floor bedroom would be freezing while the 3rd floor was too hot. The tennis courts, bocce and horse shoes are not available during the fall and winter. That would have been good to know since we planned on that. There is not a bunk bed with trundle. We got there during the transition and it wasn’t pleasant. There is now a futon with possibility of trundle.

Great place to stay, quite and close to everything, however only problem is the refrigerator does not work, all the food that I bought went to waste. I would’ve given 5 stars however with the refrigerator not working and the food spoiling I’m giving it 4⭐️‘S

Great location.. been coming up to Kingswood village for over 20 years and all the amenities on the property are great Condo could use some TLC for the price we are paying.. locks on sliding doors are a bit hard to use, 1 lights out going up the stairs. Again your In Beautiful Lake Tahoe!

This was a very nice quiet home for my family of 3 to stay in. The pack-n-play for my son was especially appreciated. The kitchen met all our needs for keeping drinks cold and had all we needed for breakfast in the mornings. The entire place seems to be newly renovated. I would recommend for any parents of babies as we didn’t find any other Vacasa rentals near Lake Tahoe with a pack-n-play for our dates.

We enjoyed the space of the unit and the lovely view out of the living room. It was located just minutes from Kings Beach, where my husband's sister works. It made it quick and easy to meet up with her when her day was over.

Overall good experience, tho problems remained with very loose sink faucet and defective television. Upstairs loft with bulky bunkbed may not be comfortable for other guests. We appreciated the excellent location for sidetrips into Kings Beach, as well as the quiet neighborhood restrictions (no dogs and 10pm-8am quiet hours). Wish we could have stayed longer than our 2 nights ...

Great Stay!
I stayed here with some friends and we had a great time! The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It's also in a great location: close to the lake, 10 min from the Northstar ski resort, and close to many shops and restaurants along the lake. At such an affordable price I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful Condo
Great central location. Only about a mile down to kings beach. Downstairs main bedroom, balcony, and bathroom. Second floor kitchen, balcony and living area. Third floor has a loft with bunk beds and another bathroom. The condo is clean with newer appliances and upgrades. Overall a great place to stay. I'd definitely stay in this complex again. The only bummer was the smoke from the fire, but luckily it cleared out for a few days.

Kingswood Village condo Nordic Retreat 222
First off we have been coming to Kingswood Village for over 20 years and have stayed in many condos. First off would like to start off with the good
Kingswood village is awesome. Can’t beat the amenities and location to anything on Northshore. The condo probably has one of the best view of the of the grassy area as well of the beautiful lush trees. Close to the pool and tennis courts/basketball. The condo is plenty of space for 5 as it has a full bathroom in the loft. Furnishing are a bit oot if date but hey your in Tahoe your not there for that. The beautiful breakfast bar is great spot to put all your food and plenty room for Everyone to enjoy and be together. The Weber electric grill is perfect for grilling your favorite food while taking in the view. (Kingswood village doesn’t allow propane, gas or charcoal on the properties)This condo is great. It ha almost everything you need! Would stay again for sure!
The bad. This unit needs to upgrade the refrigerator ASAP. We spent time with the setting to get the fridge to keep cold. Even the freezer didn’t keep our ice cream chilled. It worked off and on but to open the fridge and pull out not cold drinks or food to be luke warm is not good and unhealthy. We ended up put lots of our drinks in the Yeti over ice and kept them in there.
The deck screen is in desperate need of a new one. It barely closes, Looks like someone ran right through it. Don’t want to spend your time Mickey mousing it to open and close
The WiFi was spotty, I get it reboot the router but on all the time. ( that is not a big deal).
Again this condo is great aside from a properly working refrigerator which In my opinion is a major necessity. Put in some TLC on this unit and I would give it a 5 star.
Great spot and whomever rents it will be happy.

Danger! Vaccasa danger!
Managed by vacasa. Vacasa lied and ignored my phone call. Fire danger with extension cord strewn across mattress. Vacasa is the cable company of rentals- purposely stymies communication.

Hiking fun
Location near trails. Need more directions on use of TV upstairs and downstairs TV was totally unconnected to box. More direction on use of washer. Fireplace fan kept going on and heating room. Temps in the nineties. Closets cluttered with owners stuff.

Cozy & quiet. & a convenient location.
The location was great; very easy to get to King's Beach even in increment weather. The beds were comfortable; there were plenty of extra blankets to keep us warm. The push-button fire-place is great to sit in front. The kitchen has everything you might want, including a Fondue pot, but we ate out. The only thing we wished we had, was a shovel to clear the stairs. & walkway ( someone did it for us, but we would have loved the exercise!).

Great place to stay
I was in North Tahoe this weekend and this place was convenient to get too and check in was breeze. It's a cute place, clean and cozy. Most of what you may need is provided ( hotel type shampoo & conditioner, dishes, utensils, towels, toiletries etc.) . If your picky I'd suggest to bring your own. In the winter bring clothing to layer up but know the fireplace is wonderful. I'd recommend & come back.

Labor Day Weekend
The "vascasa" rental experience was awesome. The home had everything we needed. The experience to check in was so easy. The place was bigger then we expected. The home was spotless and in other words really clean and organized. We would definitely recommend the #222 home.
The only neagtive thing is that the "ac" never felt like its was on.

Enjoyable
Very nice updated house. Clean upon entering and easy check in and check out. Our main concerns were the check in time (4) seemed a little late to us and when we arrived an hour early, there was no way to communicate if the cleaning crew was done and if we could get in early. Our baby was ready to get out of the car after travel but after calling Vacasa , they just said we couldn’t check in an hour early. The other issue we had was the house was VERY hot. We didn't mind that there was no AC but we would have loved some fans in the rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great condo for our family
We spent a long weekend in Tahoe with my family and this condo was great. It is perfect for a family of 4, had all the amenities we would need inside, plus access to the nice pool. It was VERY clean and the beds were comfortable....both huge bonuses in my book. Not a problem for us because our kids are older, but for families with young children, note that the master bedroom is on the first floor and the other room is on the 3rd floor (with the main living space on the 2nd floor)....lots of stairs could be tough with the little ones.
It's a very convenient location to get to various locations (North Start, the beach, Truckee, etc.). Overall, a great place and would consider staying there again when we visit the area next time.

Great little Tahoe condo! Clean, updated, well maintained, beautiful pool, etc. The only 'problem' we had was the power cord was missing from the electric BBQ. We contacted the the mgmt co. who said they would "send someone over", but never did. Overall, a very nice condo.
