I loved the hot spring bath in the hotel.
But the water in the room was also hot spring.
It tasted like sea water, so I didn’t like to wash my mouth, taking a shower and gargle in the room.

We liked everything. It's true that the hotel operates like a motel and you don't get a tooth brush, parking is paid and so on and it also looks slightly dated but that's what we expected, therefore, we were perfectly happy. The reception was kind and helpful, the sauna was great, we used the coupon for the coffee place, the location couldn't be better and the price-value is probably the best in all of Haeundae. We would stay at Benikar again and can recommend it.
Nothing. The hotel was what we expected.

Old style decor and the natural spring sauna.
Nothing.

close to the beach
Overheated room, needed adjustment from reception. Extra beds were stored in fire escape routes. Nowhere to hang your towels. Missing big towels in the room, so we had to find them in the hallway.

Room is quite sizeable with enough spaces for 3 people. Great location close to Haeundae Beach and just in between Haeundae Traditional Market & Blue Line Park despite a bid distant walk to Haeundae Metro. Front office attentant was very helpful in arranging a Jumbo Taxi to take us to Busan Station.
Heater in hotel room was very dry, dehydrating & quite uncomfortable. We felt like needing to drink some water most of the time. Room temperature adjustment did not work as well for us and we needed to open the window during our stay. Amenity like soap & shampoo is quite limited and we had to ask for more from the front office.

Value for money. Location is unbeatable. If you have sensitive hearing, avoid the side face the main avenue(which I did). Spa is included, which I found a "perk". But if you are not a fan of Korean-style public bath culture, you can skip it by all means.
Parking is paid only but it's understandable and the price is reasonable(less than 10 USD). The area (alleyways) used to be popular but it seemed went under dilapidation(or refabricating).

The location was very close to the beach.

The location of the hotel is very convenient with the night street market nearby.
The tap water in the hotel is salty!!! Even when boiled, is still salty! It will be also good if the receptionist at the lobby can help to make reservations for taxi to the hotel but apparently they cannot help.

Location is perfect so close to Itaewon. Plus it’s very cheap so good value if you can deal with the bad stuff
Rooms were so unclean, stains everywhere on the floors. There is no aircon which for some reason means it’s roasting hot. horrible and dry room.
the hotel is also above a nightclub which is open Thurs-Sun. We were on floor 11 and still it was huge bass all night.

Location of hotel was central to beach and night life areas.
Spa inside our bathroom was great as it used the mineral water form the mountains.
Very clean and spacious room with plenty of towels and a comfy bed.
Air-con was very effective and refreshing especially during 35+ degree heat.
Cannot think of anything

No breakfast offered due to covid
1000 won voucher is laughable. Its better to not offer , then to offer such a miserable discount.

I liked the workers. Even we rejected the cleaning and asked for it later, they did it for us.
shower booth and toilet are separated. The parking is not good. you have to part your car in a different place if it's big.

Location and bed was GREAT! I was so happy how close it was from Haeundae Beach. The area wasn't noisy and it was good.
I just didn't like how cheap it felt. You only got a little small package of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Yes they gave you a new one during room cleaning but I wish it was a bit more especially for the price we paid.

It was a great location and the cafe is amazing.
The shower heads are low, it was fine for me but I'm only 5'3, however the bathtub is huge.

Excellent separate restaurant downstairs in the lobby.
Excellent spa with natural mineral water.
Room size in photos looked larger. Did not expect room size on arrival for that kind of ₩₩₩.

Great location. In walking distance from the haeundae beach and main Street. Plenty restaurants and shops in the area. Room spacious with good city view. Staff spoke good English. I'd recommend for young couples.
You can tell by wear and tear it's a busy hotel.
Wasn't very well soundproofed compare to other hotels in Korea we've stayed. You could hear people from other rooms.
