Very spacious house, in a quiet location… The grounds were huge and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda for breakfast overlooking the garden..
Heaps of space for the 4 of us with beds to spare, and a comfortable lounge.. Friendly, helpful owner.

Always wanted to go to Norfolk Island. Easy place to visit with heaps of history and good food with friendly people.
House was exactly what we needed. Great size and everyone could find their own space when needed. Good location, everything worked.

Was the perfect place to unwind and check out the history of this unique island. Brett was the perfect host.

A great location for us - a bedroom each, plenty of space to spread out. Well equipped (except more tea towels would have been good). Great to be able to sit on the verandahs in the sun, watch the chickens, listen to the birds.
Would recommend this to anyone wanting a really relaxed holiday

We enjoyed a wonderful week on Norfolk Island with Haydenblair House as our home base. House has plenty of room, everything you need for self-catering and a beautiful garden. Loved opening the double doors off our bedroom each morning to gaze at the palms and pines. The local free roaming chooks were a bonus. Definitely recommend for a family group.

Plenty of space and living areas, older facilities but great atmosphere of peace and quiet. Great that Brett met us at the airport and organised an orientation tour for us. Thoroughly enjoyed the different way of life in this glorious spot.

Overall excellent. Cleaners could do a better job in the kitchen but nothing we couldn't live with :) Could have done without the cyclone but that was not Brett's fault !!

We had a great stay on Norfolk Island while staying at Brett’s property. He was a wonderful host and it was a lovely old timber house that was perfect for our needs.

My husband and I loved staying at Brett’s lovely property and appreciated being met at the airport and taken to the house. The house is set on a large leafy property, with expansive views of the national park. Breakfast on the verandah was a great way to start the day, being met by the resident chooks and drinking a glass of freshly squeezed orange & grapefruit juice, from fruit we picked from the many fruit trees on the property. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. The fire place was an added bonus on chilly nights. Thank you for sharing your lovely house and property with us Brett.

Lovely big house
Brett was a great host, meeting us at the airport and organising rental cars. The house is large and surrounded by pleasant gardens. The house was a bit short on a few things and a bit dusty but a pleasant place to relax.

Peace & Quiet, Lovely Residence
Haydanblair House gave us a unique experience never to be forgotten. Situated in the peace and quiet on acreage in Burnt Pine, the house is a credit to the owner and gave us 3 senior couples a holiday in February 2019 that we will remember for a long time. The accommodation and facilities are more than adequate, which gave us a relaxed feel from the moment we stepped in the front door. Talk about a home away from home, we would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing for a relaxing and enjoyable stay on Norfolk Island. In addition, we were particularly impressed with the help given to us by Brett, who made himself available to accommodate our needs.
