Great location! It is in the heart of the village Tatev but there is so calm and you can hear only birds singing in a daytime. Hosts are awesome people! It is a must to try their homemade dinner and breakfast! One of my best stays on booking.com! Absolutely above my expectations!

We had an amazing experience here, and absolutely recommend this place. The hosts are the kindest people and, even though they only spoke a bit of english, it was very easy to communicate with them. They helped so much in making our stay at Aspet unforgettable! It wasn´t part of our plan to stay in Tatev, but we had some car issues while we were there and decided to book in the last minute. It was a a big surprise that not long after booking and letting them know our situation, the host appeared next to our car and helped us sort everything out! Moreover, they even welcomed us with a late dinner as soon as we arrived! The room was also comfortable and quite large, and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic, not just the food but also the views to the mountains from the terrace were amazing. We liked the place so much that we decided to stay another night, to explore the area a bit further.

The dinner was quite pricey, compared to the local supermarket and restaurant prices. I would recommend asking the prices beforehand, especially as one can only pay with cash and there is no ATM in town. Also, the entire house seems to run on solar power (both hot water and electricity), so the shower wasn´t too hot after other guests showered, and we noticed some water/electricity cuts during the day/late night that seemed to be related to that.

Nice stay

The hosts were very friendly and cooked us a very nice dinner (not for free). Everything was very clean and service was excellent. Waking up and having coffee on their balcony was very relaxing.

The road to get to this location is rocky and not comfortable. We ended up parking further away and continuing by car. It is also not close to Wings of Tatev (We should have stayed in Halidzor for that). And finally, the bed mattresses were sinking and really uncomfortable.

Tatev was in the mountains with a view of a snow cap mountain from the bedroom window

the isolation and nothing to do really except to have long walks in the evening exploring the area

We stayed in Aspet Guesthouse for 4 nights. Our stay was exceptional. The place is so beautiful, quiet, there is a huge balcony, from the balcony you can see nature, mountains. There is a beautiful garden in front of the Guesthouse, from where the hosts harvest healthy fresh vegetables and prepare the meals. The breakfast is very delicious with homemade jam, cheese, butter etc... The host is a professinal cook and she prepares gladly lunch and dinner too. I highly recommend this place.

Clean room, exceptional breakfast. And not only breakfast, the host will prepare lunch or dinner for you if you are hungry. The food is fantastic, real homemade country food and homemade wine. If someone is looking for accommodation in Tatev you should not look further than this.

Those who intend to come here must be aware that the road is unpaved and quite bad but with an SUV is not a problem to come. This is just information for those who are thinking of coming by car. There are no complaints about the accommodation and the hosts

The place was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, even though communication with the hosts was rather minimal.
