Great location, personally not worth the price

Not a lot to like really, the staff were really helpful, the location was very good.

I got a superior double room and it was tiny, there was not enough space for our bags. The AC was very bad, it practically did not work and we had a fan on us trying to cool down in the night but it was very hot. The shower was poor with water going everywhere

Sehr zentrale Lage, wenn man möchte sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fussläufig erreichbar. Viele kleine Restaurants im Umkreis.

Not great customer service.

Be aware when booking the superior double room as the information is misleading. Although the picture leads you to believe the room has a window it is in fact not a window and the room has no natural light or fresh air. The confirmation email also shows a room with a window but the superior double is small and dark. I complained about being mislead with the receptionist who would not give me a refund and the manager too. She said the description did not mention a window however it didn’t mention NO window either like other hotel listings. She said she would change the description on booking.com. I wasn’t the only guest complaining that day and I’m sure that happens daily. I had to pay extra to move rooms as I couldn’t get a refund to move to an alternative hotel.

Prima lokatie, stil maar neem geen genoegen met gern uitzicht als ze kamers verhuren met city view

Prima lokatie en stille kamers

Eerste kamer had geen uitzicht, keek tegen een muur aan op 3e etage dus hoe hoger beter uitzicht 8e verdieping had lekkage sporen. Kreeg niet echt het luxe gevoel wat de foto s doen beloven. Kamer is kleiner en de kamers ad achterkant (wel rustiger) hebben geen ramen tot aan de vloer

Disappointed with the small room - no space for our luggage.

Not a great experience - we had booked and paid for a superior double room but on arrival were given a very small room with NO window !! When we advised reception of this they just shrugged as if they failed to understand !! Very disappointed with Lucky Star Hotel !!!

Get a room with a city view, high up for best night sleep.

Room with enormous window on 7th floor was well worth the money.

A small spot on roof to get some fresh air would have been lovely.

Got what we paid for but wouldn’t stay again.

Staff were friendly.

We were moved from the original location we booked to a different hotel and the photos did not replicate what we stayed in. The rooms smelt like cigarette smoke despite being “non-smoking”.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

A good size, clean and comfortable room. Fairly quiet, especially in view of the central location. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

It would be better if the safe in the room was bolted down.

Great hotel in the center of Saigon

Very nice hotel in the midst of Saigon. The friendly staff helped us out with every need we had. The room was clean and big, had a big window and a very good bath/shower. The air-conditioning worked well, the WiFi was good, we had a TV, too. They washed our clothes for a small fee and we could store our luggage in their backroom until we took our bus to the airport in the evening. Absolutely no complaints here. The price was reasonable as well. Definitely recommended.

Good location and that’s about it.

The location was good and the AC worked

The shower curtain was covered in mold. The fridge wasn’t able to keep anything cold. The beds had evidence of stains from bugs. The staff couldn’t provide much in the way of help or advice for the city or area besides recommending a very expensive tour.

Horrible hotel fake photos and just dirty and not accurate.

The room was dirty broken shower door not cleaned once In 5 days the fridge didn't work and the bed was super uncomfortable. The room was tiny not even big enough to put our bags down and the towels never got changed without asking and the air con was not good. The room we booked and the room we were given was not even remotely the same as the photos. Think about a tiny room with a big bed and enough room to take 4 steps in total. The hotel staff only gave 1 key card aswell for 2 people. The other rooms were big and nice but they decided to give us a room that was tiny broken lights broken shower door and chipped paint everywhere broken air con and just a horrible experience we left the hotel early as it was just so disappointing and a bit of a scam.

good location, aircon, large enough

it smelt with cigarettes even that my request was non smoking room. All floor had this smell. I asked to change my room, which they kindly did on my last night. in general the hotel is ok.

Great location but lack of cleanliness

Proximity to all attractions and restaurants / bars

Reserved what we thought was a superior room but both rooms had pointless windows that backed onto walls, offering no daylight. Level of cleanliness was very poor.
