I was a little nervous about staying here because, due to it being eco-friendly, the cabins didn't have air conditioning and the stay wasn't going to be as luxurious as some other stays I've had, but I am so glad I took a chance and we decided to stay here. It is a once in a lifetime experience, and you truly feel like you're on your very own private island. We were free to do whatever we wanted whenever we wanted, and the food and drinks were absolutely excellent. Every single thing we ate was delicious. It exceeded all of our expectations. We were able to snorkel and kayak, and my husband went fishing every day we were there (and caught something to eat each day too!). The wildlife is amazing to see, and the water is absolutely crystal clear. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and they're always around to answer questions, check to see if you're hungry/thirsty, or need anything. Allen and Lloyd make our stay remarkable, and we will be recommending this island stay for years to come!
I don't believe they have turndown service, which is likely due to being eco-friendly and trying to preserve water/energy, but a little bit of cleaning in the room would have been nice, especially since the rooms get really sandy and humid quick. Also plumbing is non-traditional, so it took a bit of time to get used to the low water pressure and delicate toilets. These are small prices to pay to stay on your very own private island though.

The staff treated us like family. They were so wonderful! And the setting was was just unbelievable!
We will definitely be going back
The food was good, but some fruit or salads would've been nice.

It was a fabulous stay. The weather was awesome the 5 days that we were there. Alan the bartender took such great care of us throughout our stay. Can’t say enough about how great he and the rest of the staff were. Definitely I would highly recommend staying there or visiting on a day trip.
The sheets on the bed were pretty warn out and the hot water was limited.

The location is spectacular!
At sometimes, there’s not enough water to take a shower (which somehow is understandable because of the lack of water at the island).

I loved everything about my stay and was extremely sad to have had to leave
I wish communication was a little bit better while booking and coordinating our stay but once we arrived there were absolutely no issues.

Everything else. Staff were amazing, best beach in Belize, perfect snorkeling from shore or a 5-10 min boat ride. No saragasum as well. Fourth trip to Belize and this was definitely the best beach experience.
No Wi-Fi, limited hot water and water pressure.

Such a special place!!! The staff will become family and the island, home. The warmth of the ocean, sway of the palms and waves that create the sweetest lullaby await you. Learn to fish with a hand line, snorkel the barrier reef or just relax with one of Freddy’s frosty cocktails in a hammock as the days pass. Your stay won’t be forgotten!

Beautiful island in the middle of nowhere, great spot for snorkeling and seeing a lot of fish right in front of you. Free Kayak, SUP, games etc.. Amazing sky at night full of stars! Simple, but very tasty and freshly made food and drinks! Simple, but clean and tidy cabanas with comfortable beds and nice terraces. Island is mostly very little visited, but expect that day tourists and boats are around (10~20 pax) Staff makes a considerable effort to make you feel happy! Thanks for that!!
Price is not adequate at all - do not expect any premium service for your money.
I faced quite difficult communication with management upfront, days without email or phone response. No clear answers, confirmations or instructions e.g. where to wait for pickup. All finally worked out tough.
Cabanas are simple, and that is all you need, but many things do not work as expected (e.g. shower water pressure is extremely fluctuating).
However, here is the real problem to be cautious with booking:
YOUR COSTS WILL DOUBLE!!
Rip-off method: After they confirmed your non-cancellable booking, you receive an email with additional costs that are not announced upfront: 300 US$/pax (!!) for the boat transfer (2x45min round trip) and ~100 US$/pax (!) for food and drinks per day. Why is it a rip-off: 1: Day visitors only pay 125 US$ for round trip including lunch. So as house guest you feel 2nd class. 2: I ate an entire day in the best restaurant of Belize for way less then 100 US$. It does not relate and is massively overpriced and not fair communicated! They offer a 150 US$/pax „all-incl“ package which allows to limit costs a bit - still it does not add up at all, mostly due to the insane transfer costs.
I would love to be able to recommend this place, but with this in mind - I can’t.
