It is located in a quiet location about 8 mins walk from the Plaza de Armas of Ollantaytambo and 15 mins walk to the train and bus stations. It’s accessible on a cobbled pathway by foot or on a paved road by taxi or tuk-tuk although either way, there are some steps to climb. Great breakfasts and super-friendly and helpful staff!
Nothing at all!

Bon petit déjeuner.

Sunny room with a beautiful view of the valley. Comfy bed. There is a small table with two chairs outside the room. Great breakfast. Wonderful family to make your stay pleasant. Great location.
Sometimes you have to wait longer for hot water.

location
checkout too early (10:30), and breakfast in short time, from 7:30 to 9:00.

Amazing, charming place. Loved the warm welcome of the host, delicious breakfast, fantastic location. Room not huge, but very practical. The house is amazing, very nice breakfast area and hosting family so friendly and helpful.
Maybe just some kind of ventilation in the bathroom would be good, but it's an old traditional house, so this might be impossible.

Jorge was very attentive. Breakfast was delicious eggs, ham, bread, yogurt, granola and really good coffee. The view is unforgettable from the room to the garden.
4.6
The room is comfortable, the location is steps away from town center and Inca ruin. the host, Jorge, is particularly helpful. We like the fresh made breakfast everyday. highly recommend.

We stayed there a second time after we visited Machu Picchu. We left some luggages with Jorge when we visited Machu Picchu and they were well taken care of.

We stayed here twice, refer to my other review, it’s a wonderful hotel and I highly recommend it! Jorge is the loveliest host, one of the nicest I have come across in over 30 years of traveling! stay here, you won’t regret it!
4.6
Jorge was the most wonderful host, Parwa Guesthouse is more like a traditional bed and breakfast experience, it really feels like home. Our room was incredibly comfortable, it was spacious but felt so cosy. We stayed here before and after visiting Machu Picchu, Jorge allowed us to leave our luggage in the room as he had no booking for the night we were away, this was incredibly kind. Do yourself a favor and stay here, it’s simply magic!
Nothing at all, it was great!
4.6
Lovely location two blocks off the main square with beautiful terraces with views of the sacred site to sit and relax with a cup of tea. Jorge was very helpful and served a great breakfast with local fruits, cheeses and bread.

the light came through at night through the window on the ceiling

fantastic location with great hikes and restaurants a short and beautiful walk away, jaw-dropping views, accommodating host, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds- perfect stay.

This guest house is located just next to the main square of the village. The view from our room was amazing as we could see directly the historical site of Ollantaytambo. We had to leave early in order to catch the train for Machu Picchu so we couldn't have breakfast but still the owner left us some staff to take with us. Also he helped us print everything we needed. We recommend this guest house.
The room was really clean but unfortunately when we closed the curtains for the night a small scorpion fell down. Luckily he didn't touch us.

The place is immaculately clean, the host warm and welcoming, the rooms and beds very comfortable, breakfast fresh and tasty. Location is a few minutes away from the central square and all the markets, restaurants and cafes you could wish for. Despite being so close to the square though, due to the thick walls we couldn't hear the celebrations and loud music from the anniversary celebrations that were taking place, quite amazing. We stayed for two nights, but with hindsight would have stayed for another before heading up to Cusco. The shower was slightly temperamental (wasn't a consistent hot water flow), and the local stray dogs did at times disturb sleep, otherwise can't fault it. Great place to stay in Ollantaytambo, would highly recommend.

The owner was very helpful and we had a wonderful room with king size bed - very comfortable, and wonderful views over the mountains and archeological site.
Poor internet connection. Property was a little difficult to find however had great views and was in the old part of Ollantaytambo - which was good.
4.6
Gorgeous room & very kind staff. great location.
Shower didn’t work, but staff were very kind to work on it
4.6
great location I’m a great city.
mosquitos Invaded the room one night and the water was almost nonexistent
4.6
Very clean, great bed.
Needs a better way to enter than a ring bell that doesn’t always work.
4.6
The staff was very helpful and supportive.
Hotel had heating and hot water shower.
Some rooms where a bit noisy at night.
4.6
The hotel is carefully decorated, the staff was very attentive and they serve a great breakfast. Hotel kept our luggage while we wandered around the city, before getting the train to Aguas Calientes.
Showers do not heat up properly, which was a bit uncomfortable, once it was cold when we visited.

I loved this guesthouse so much, i extended my stay. The proprietor, Jorge, is a gentleman and a gem. My bedroom was spacious and lovely, and the bed magnificent. As good as my very good bed at home. Totally unexpected:)
Nothing- would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Really great staff, comfortable rooms, communal kitchen stocked with teas and fruit.
Super helpful owner on site.
Lovely garden
Nothing at all not to like
4.6
we liked everything about this accommodation-Jorge and staff, room, location, shower, etc. Loved the views of some of the ruins from our window. Would definitely stay again. Jorge’s suggestion that we attend the large scale Inca drama at the ruins was outstanding.
breakfast might have had more cheese or perhaps eggs but it was no big deal, and there was a lovely fruit salad.
4.6
The manager and staff were amazing and very helpful. The location of the property is perfect- close to the Plaza, but far enough that it’s quiet and you can hear the stream flowing outside your window! The property itself is beautiful, and very well appointed!
Nothing, it was great!
4.6
Friendly check-in with helpful advices about the surroundings and where to eat.
Comfortable room and very peaceful water sound from the small canals just outside the windows.
You could see and smell that everything was clean, but I would check the towels/beddings since there were small holes and stains, no big deal for us.

Parwa Guest House was a great place to stay during our two nights in Ollantaytambo. It was located right by the center of town, the breakfast was lovely, and the staff was incredibly helpful (e.g., doing our laundry post-Machu Picchu for a small fee and quick turnaround). Definitely recommend!
The walls were very thin so sound traveled a lot. This was only an issue once, but it was in the middle of the night when two other guests were talking very loudly.
4.6
comfortable guest house run by a very nice family who also shared great advice about how to best see Ollantaytamo. The location is close to the main square but away from the noise.
Our room was the first room to the left of the entrance and we could hear people walking past and talking. this was not a big problem as there were not many people by night time.
4.6
The staff is beyond accommodating and easy to communicate with. They are very friendly and we enjoyed our charming rooms. The beds were very comfortable. The tranquility of the local stream running through the street served as a great ambiance for rest. Would recommend.

Location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Noise from the reception and other rooms.

Our stay at Parwa was amazing! The owner was also very understanding and helpful, as we needed to change the date of our stay because of a transportation strike. He put us in a nicer and larger bedroom without raising the price! Furthermore, the place was just incredibly nice, romantic and clean. The breakfast was also very good and large. Nothing to say but good things.

Clean helpful staff and good breakfast
