Gemütlich wie zu Hause

Sehr freundliches, und auch hilfsbereites Personal. Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, man kann sich durchaus gut etwas kochen. Der Pool ist riesig, alle Außenanlagen laden zum Verweilen ein. Die gute Fee, Juliana, war immer aufmerksam. Maria und Carlo immer für die Gäste da.

Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind wie überall in den Städten.

Good location and friendy hosts

The bed was way too small. Even for one person but we were two. 180cm long bed is just too small. Bathroom was dirty. No shower gel, soap was very much diluted with water. We stayed for one week and had the same towels, they don’t change anything. You can use the kitchen and it’s nice equiped but you have to clean your own dishes and people have no sense of cleanliness so everything was very dirty. I expected more for that kind of money.

It felt like a home away from home.

Casa Barao truly feels like a home away from home. The location is wonderful, the hosts are very welcoming, and the property is super peaceful and has everything you need! The beds are comfortable and the rooms are a great size. I would love to stay here again!

Exceptional

We loved being able to share moments with other guests on the balcony or in the kitchen while still having complete privacy and quietness if we wanted Other positive point : cleanliness of every room and friendliness of the owners and their employee, the recommandation we get when we arrive.

Personally I didn't like the pillows. That would be my only improvement recommandation, which shows how nice and welcoming the house is.

Great place with amazing value

The hosts are super friendly and helpful, the place has a lot of space and great common areas such as swimming pool, garden with barbecue area and full kitchen. The location is quite good as well. We had no problems to park outside and it is quiet and it close to all the places of interest.

We would go back in a heartbeat if we ever found ourselves on Sao Miquel again!

This place is a little gem - super friendly hosts, lovely big old house with a pool, and very well set up for doing your own cooking - all for a very reasonable price.

The only things that could have been better were the bed and bedside lamps bright enough to read by.

Had an excellent stay there! Our room was clean & comfy, the en-suite bathroom spacious and kitchen well equipped but the biggest advantage are lovely hosts. Maria and Paulo were very friendly, gave us great sightseeing tips, restaurants recommendations and even helped us with renting a car

It's a bit noisy outside during the day due to busy road nearby

Everything was good for the price, rooms were spacious and comfortable, nothing missing from the ad, the owners were nice and dealt with everything we asked for. Overall nice stay.

Homeowners' cat doesn't like to be pet for too long, then bites.

Overall a great stay, the Host was very helpful and accommodating and the house has all the equipment we needed. The big pool and garden were very nice for chilling after a long hiking day

The owner was lovely, so helpful. Flexible to let us check in late after our flight arrived late. The garden is beautiful, big pool. Spacious kitchen to cook. Walking distance from the centre.

The cleaning of the room, understandable from an environmental viewpoint that you wouldn't clean every day but the towels started smelling bad after a few days even if we hung them outside to dry. Our bin didn't get emptied, we did it ourselves once. Game room that needs some updating, the table tennis is fun but the table is old and bent out of shape.

Superb

We had a great stay! The house is so big and very clean, it has a big well equiped kitchen and a nivel swimming pool and garden. There is a close supermarket and It takes around 30 min walking to get to the city center. The management is also very nice.

It's the best place in Ponta Delgada for the money that you spend on it

Personnel is great. The pool is very nice and the yard is just huge. Pineapple farm, supermarkets and everything else is very near the place

It was an amazing experience. Hosts are very frinedly and professional. I felt really welcomed and cared for. Thay shared a guide of the sights and provided ideas of how to navigate the island in the best way. The house is really beautiful and clean, and has everything you need. It was quiet and calm. The rooms are big and beds very very comfortable. There is also a big supermarket near the house. I would really recommend it and would definetly stay there again!

Good experience :) recommend

Great localisation and availability of the owners. Always present and ready to help. A big plus is a huge kitchen that is very well organised and swimming pool. Easy to park the car on the street and is not payed.

The only thing could be better is the quality of the towels. They did not smell very good after thy got wet after first use, I saw a cleaning lady using normal washing machine for this kind of things.. should be cleaned chemically.

Perfect stay - very friendly owner

The accommodation was just perfect. A really nice and clean room, which I could even use from 7 in the morning after my arrival, which was really really nice. The owners of the house are very friendly and welcoming and help if there is anything needed. Also the location of the house, where you can actually also use the kitchen etc., is very well located, very close to a super market and to the city centre, and less then ten minutes by taxi from the airport. I highly recommend this accommodation and would come back any time.

Perfect spot

Amazing place

Nice hosts and amazing garden with swimming pool l. Kitchen well equipped. Ideal for relaxing stay and saving money on restaurants. Not in the centre but at walking distance.
