Great service from the owner Dennis and his son Chris. As a solo traveler without a car I appreciated the time Dennis took to make sure I had everything I needed.

Excellent hospitality at Galaxy Rooms and the perfect location close to a beautiful beach

Our stay at Galaxy Rooms made our trip to Kefalonia so memorable! Dennis made us feel instantly welcome by having fruit ready in our fridge and he was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Throughout our stay Dennis always said hello, made sure to check we had everything we needed and he also cooked dinner for us twice which we thought was such a lovely gesture. Not to mention the food was delicious too! The location was excellent as it was a short walk from Mega Lakkos beach which is absolutely stunning. Our room was on the 1st floor and we had a balcony which looked out onto the sea. We definitely recommend staying at Galaxy Rooms 😄

We were in Kefalonia for one week and we spent in Galaxy first 4 nights. That was the best decision ever. We stayed in ground apartman which has a beautiful panoramatic view. The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet here. We met with the host, Denis who was the best! Kitchen is very well equipped, but you will probably not need it because Denis is amazing chef. He made us 2 dinners and that was the best meals what we had in whole Kefalonia. If you will stay here definitely try his food. It's very tasty and autentic. It is much better option than to eat in restaurants. Sandy beach is about 5 minutes walk and is very quiet. We were suprised that there were no people there. If you are looking for peacefull holiday Galaxy rooms is the best.

Little paradise

Everything The kindness of Denis the owner and his wonderful children Chris and zaneth. The house is just above a beautiful beach....like a private beach for us. Every night Denis made us a delicious bbq fish or meat. Every thing was perfect for us. We stayed 5days and we could more for sure. From the balcony I did some zoom work and it was perfect. In the apartment you have all what u need.

Dennis was a wonderful host, he cooked for us a delicious grilled swordfish and got us all the help we needed. The position was also really good and quiet, 2 minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes by car from Lixouri. I would recommend this to everyone

Warm and welcoming stay steps from the beach

Dennis is an incredibly friendly host. Only steps from one of Cephalonia's most serene beaches and the rooms have large balconies overlooking the ocean. Near the house you see beautiful greenery and lots of animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cows, and very friendly cats). The room/kitchen were well equipped.

Furnishings were a bit old but it only added to the homely vibe of the property.

Perfect small and friendly, simply Greek 🚣‍♂️🏖🏊🏻‍♂️🧘🏼‍♂️

We were a group of family members consisting of three generations on holiday for a week. Denise and his son Chris met us when we first arrived and instantly made us feel welcome and part of the family. They gave us our privacy but nothing was too much trouble if we needed something. Denise is a fabulous chef and could make us anything we wished with his homemade and homegrown products and he would kindly produce a generous tasty meal for all at our request. How fabulous after a long day swimming, walking on the beach and sunbathing to return to your apartment and enjoy a home cooked meal and not have to do the washing up. Both father and son are good company and are eager to make your stay a pleasant one. We had use of sun beds and umbrellas for the beach and it was so lovely laying on this quiet section of the beach amongst the turtle nests. If you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday this is the place to be.

For us as a family it was a perfect location, quiet but just a short walk along the beach you had more choice of sun-beds and beach bars. Renting a car would be convenient but not necessary, taxis are cheap but we preferred to stay local. We came to relax and meet old friends and family here and enjoy the magical location.

The perfect place to relax

The position was perfect, very close to a marvelous sandy beach, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the see. The host was extremely friendly , he is a great chef, he cooked for us excellent food: musaka, tzatziki, fish, greek salad and he used ingredients from his own yard. We also enjoyed his melons and grapes. I will certainly go back. I warmly recommend this property.
