Amazing huge apartment is in a prime location with close Acropolis view. So much better and more quiet than staying in the Plaka. The Plaka is close by and an important place to visit at least once and if you have seen it, perhaps once is enough. The Plaka is historic, but/and if you have seen it, you might find the lodging, shops and restaurants in this neighborhood to be much better - plus the Plaka is noisy with an abundance of rude unaware tourists. This apartment is in a residential neighborhood very close to historic sites and public transportation. This apartment has great sound proofing, so it is very easy to sleep and blinds to block out any light if that is what you desire. I felt very lucky to stay in such a place. It is extremely comfortable with a lovely balcony and view of the Acropolis. The pictures are actually not as good as the apartment. I only wish that I had stayed longer, if for no other reason than to take advantage of the space. One of the best parts of the apartment, was George who manages the rental. He is great and arranged for transport to the apartment from the port - take advantage of this. It is special treatment to have someone with a sign with your name waiting - so much better than standing in line for a taxi when arriving from a long ferry ride. At the end of our stay, George arranged two cars, one for my friend to go to the airport and one for me to go back to the Piraeus to continue my journey. If this apartment was in the US in a major city, it would have been at least 4 times as expensive - a deal! Book early. Oh, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well appointed and a washing machine.
Actually, what's not to like. There is however an odor coming from the septic, but it's an ancient city and once you enter the apartment you kind of don't notice it.

We chose this apartment for the neighborhood and the view of the Acropolis, which were excellent. Easy access to the Acropolis Museum and many restaurants. The street was busier than expected with busses, but that was part of the show, and the main bedroom (in the rear) was quiet. The living room and bedrooms of the apartment were comfortable, and the AC worked well. The elevator was appreciated! George, the associate who handled our check-in, was very helpful with both information and our large amount of baggage. Management was very communicative, but sometimes mixed.
This apartment, although appealing for its historical decor, is obviously in heavy use and shows signs of quick turnovers. A few extra details would greatly help guests' overall impressions. The bathroom and especially the kitchen are in need of more thorough cleaning. Some amenities we would expect at this price were absent (paper towels, clothespins) or minimized, such as a sticky olive oil cruet with only a spoonful of oil provided. Oven instructions are needed. The balcony, where the best view of the Acropolis is, needs to have a little furniture (the lone, small "table" suspended from the railing is broken). Note: the kitchen does not have AC, which did not affect us, but would be noticeable in summer. With so many cafes around, however, you aren't there to cook! If you want to gaze at the Parthenon beautifully lit up at night and have a good rest after a day of sightseeing, you will be pleased with staying here.

Terrific location, with great restaurants, cafes and bakeries nearby, not to mention Acropolis access. Interesting decor. Beautiful Parthenon view. Quiet street and building. Very good communication with the drivers we hired through the property, and very reliable transfers. Easy first access to apartment.
There were some essential kitchen supplies lacking: dish liquid, dish brush or sponge, dish towels, paper towels. This made it difficult to wash the dishes, clean up the coffee when we spilled it, clean the counters, dry our hands.
Leaving the apartment on the last day was complicated, because we were supposed to leave the keys locked inside the apartment, but you needed a key to unlock the street door from the inside, also making for a potentially dangerous situation in case of an emergency. The front door was usually locked, and you could not open from the inside without a key.

Everything! Location, the size of the property, the staff! all exceptional

Great location, right in front of main attractions. What you see on the pictures is reality.
Its location has also some drawbacks if you have a car it’s really hard to find a parking place. Please note that it is valid for most of the Athens.

Lovely, large apartment in an amazing location. A few minutes to Odeon of Herodes, 10 minutes to entrance of Acropolis, 6 minutes to Acropolis Museum.... and close to so many more sites! Marble everywhere... luxurious stay. Great kitchen, fully equipped. Washer (no dryer). Great air conditioning, and a big balcony with an amazing view of the Acropolis! Quiet area even though it is so close to the tourists! Grocery stores nearby and some great restaurants too. The bedrooms are spacious and there is an endless amount of cupboards/storage. Sunlight fills the dining room in the mornings making breakfast lovely and cheerful. Outlets everywhere, which is helpful for convenient charging. Get the pickup option from/to the airport (extra charge - worth it). It's quick, easy, and the drivers are friendly and knowledgeable!
A few things to consider: there was only one hand towel and one bath towel per person for a week (no face cloths), a very strong smell of wood smoke fills the living room from the fireplace when a neighbour lights a fire in their own fireplace, there is a musty smell coming from the washing machine/shower room and toilet room and the main bathroom (easy fix - keep the doors closed and open the windows), the toilet is loose in the small bathroom (wobbly), there are no instructions for the washer (never seen one like that in my life) and no dryer (but there is a drying rack which works great in the kitchen over night!). All in all, I very much DO recommend this apartment.

The apartment is big and very nice, perfectly located near the Acropolis.
First of all, upon our arrival at midnight there was nobody, and no sign at all of the apartment. The manager arrived after maybe fifteen minutes, during which we wondered if it had been a hoax (but we had paid, of course). Then he showed us the apartment, gave all information and asked for an extra 200 € as a guarantee, we don't know exactly for what, which we finally got back after many protestations only twenty days later. The apartment in itself is nice, but if you go in Summer note that a part of it (kitchen and second bathroom) has no air conditioning and becomes very hot all over the day, so it is very hard to be used. The fact that you can't throw paper in the toilet flash should be addressed, it makes the apartment not suitable for a longer stay (we only stayed two nights).
