This is a room with private ensuite in the hosts home. Paola is a very caring and lovely host. As we do not speak Italian we had lots of fun translating back and forth. It would have been nice to stay longer. It was lovely to learn about people living in the city we were visiting.

Room great and so close to the port to go island hopping. Lovely back street restaurants close by.
4 flights of stairs a lot with heavy luggage. The restaurant below is very noisy, take airplugs.

Pleasant visit with great host! Nice and big room, very good location. Breakfast was ok, if you like sweet pastries. Beach and restaurants are only about 5 min walk away.
The room had fans, but there is not any air condition. Now it was not so hot, and it was ok.

Paola is a wonderful hostess and the room is very comfortable
There is a long climb up the stairs with bags. The breakfast is only ok

The room was very very clean. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was there. Paola was very kind. I thought i slept in my Grandma's house back in Greece. The house is in the center of the city and within 4-5 minutes walk you are in the center square. We were welcomed with a shot of limoncello that was actually very nice.
The room we stayed in is actual the hosts apartment. To go your room you get in the host's house you pass through the kitchen and the living room and then you reach the master bedroom witch is the room. The host also sleeps in the same house in a different room. It was kinda weird.
The breakfast consists of bagged cakes and things. We expected to have something homemade. Espresso was great though.

The host is super nice, breakfast is great and abundant, and location is close to the city centre and the seaside. Very good.

The location was amazing, right near the station, main streets and the seafront- plenty of places to eat and drink and quick links to ferries for boat trips and buses/trains for pompeii/vesuvius
The room was beautiful and incredibly well cared for, it was exceptionally tidy and Paola changed the laundry and tidied everyday which was much appreciated! The bed was very comfy, a nice balcony and the bathroom had everything you could need.
Paola was an incredible host, very friendly and kind, she really looked after my friend and I- from making breakfast for us everyday and putting it in a bag so we could eat it while we were out- to calling the information desk for the ferries so we could visit Positano, nothing was too much trouble and she was genuinely interested in what we did during the day and we loved our time here, will definitely be staying again and recommending this house!
Nothing! We loved it!

Paola was very friendly and accommodating 😊

Location
No sea views. Nothing nutritional with breafast. The room hired is part of the hosts home, with personal effects in the drawers and wardrobe. To access your room you have to pass through the kitchen and the hosts tv lounge.

- the owner is very nice and friendly
- the location is very good
- the bed was not comfortable, very hard mattress
- minimal breakfast (nothing salty, no bread…)
- the shower was broken, and one of the appliances fell on my feet when i was showering
- it was very cold in the room
- overall very noisy, and not well isolated
- stairs are annoying with suitcases

The location is brilliant, the host is warm and kind.
A few more steps than we’re used to, to reach the apartment, but we’re older people. it would be fine if we were a bit fitter!

Typical Italian B&B right in the center of Salerno. It is close to the station, the promenade and the Cathedral. The host Paola is a very helpful lady who makes great Italian breakfasts, she will recommend tourist and gurnan destinations on the Amalfi coast. You feel at home here.

The lady who rents one room at her apartment for guests at this b&b is a very nice and polite person who is genuinely interested in her guests and wants to be sure everybody enjoys their stay at her place. It was great to listen to her stories and she gave us many useful travel tips about the places to visit nearby. We spoke Italian so there was not any language barrier between us. The room where the guests stay is beautiful, clean and the bed is very comfortable, the lady also tidies up the room on daily basis when the guests are outside, so everything is in perfect order.
It would be convenient to have a small fridge in the room for guests specially in the summer time as the kitchen (where the simple breakfast is served in the mornings) is not available for the guests. If you arrive to your room late in the evening/night after dinner you may have a feeling that you are disturbing the lady and her family as you must walk to your room through their living room.

I’m literally in love with Paola’s place. Absolutely amazing location in the centre of Salerno, beautiful spacious room, exceptionally clean and such a comfy bed!! beautiful balconies, light filled room and lovely bathroom. Paola is the nicest person ever she’s so sweet and caring and accomodating. I didn’t want to leave to be honest 😔 I even stayed an extra night instead of moving to a new city.

Ms. Paola was the kindest host. You stay in her guest room, which is in vintage style, high ceiling, tall balcony doors, including vintage bathroom. We loved the experience, and chatting with Ms. Paola. In last notice she was kind to prepare glutenfree breakfast for me.
Be aware that reasonable-priced parking is in about 2 km distance.

Everything. We loved the house and room is so elegant. Nonna is the best ! So kind, helpful and always with a smile! She made us feel at home we were very happy to stay at her beautiful house! We will recommend her highly to our friends and family! Definitely stay here! Best value for the money!
We can’t wait to come back!!
Salerno is a beautiful city!
With sandy beach and full on inexpensive delicious restaurants!! Definitely the best decision to visit the Almafi Coast for a few days take the ferry⛴ is way better than the bus!

It was in the main street with a bit walk to the shopping center and on the other side to the sea .. Close to bus station that You can go to the Vietri beach and also Ferry station to travel to the Amalfi .. also the train station was reachable by walk as well as Minerva garden
In one day we had water problem in Salerno , that was only thing I did not like it

Feels like home. The owner was very polite and helpful with many useful tips. The bed was big and very comfortable. The room has two beautiful windows with french terraces which make the entire place looks really nice and chilly during warm days.
Breakfast was very limited and same every day. 3rd floor with no elevator can be an issue if you carry big luggage.

I was treated perfectly. Due to a delay in my ferry I reached the hotel around 5am. Nevertheless I was received at my arrival and my short stay was perfect.

Appartment located in the very center of old city, close to many bars and restaurants, very quite place. Very friendly and helpful landlady. She doesn't speak English but she is very skillful in using Google Translator to cope with the languages barriers :)
You must be concious that this is a room with a private bathroom but you share appartment with the landlady.
I didn't mind that but older or disable people should take into account that the flat is located at 3rd level and there is no elevator.
But anyway there is more pros that cons :)
