A delightful surprise & stay!

I loved the attention to detail! Beautiful Sheridan cotton sheets, fluffy Sheridan Bath towels, Ecostore toiletries & stunning decor to mention just a few of the things we enjoyed. Everything has been a provided for a very comfortable & enjoyable stay. Beautiful location & very quiet & private.

A very comfortable home stay positioned by the banks of the river.

Wish we could have stayed longer, it was so lovely!

Every little thing was thought of, right down to extra masks and cotton buds etc in the bathroom drawer. A very well thought-out accommodation which was well provisioned.

The serenity of this property with birds and garden views. The setup of the house was absolutely very comfortable and very relaxing. A very thoughtful gesture of a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Hosts were super thoughtful.

Would love to come back, the cottage was warm and cosy, and our host was friendly and obliging.

There was a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt and tea, coffee it was perfect. Location was nice and quiet, shame about the wet weather as the outside table and chairs would have been a lovely place to sit and have our breakfast, hopefully we could get to use next time we return.

Couldn't find fault the property had everything and was well presented.

We loved the cottage, its garden full of bird life, the central location and friendly hosts.

We enjoyed the fresh fruit and range of cereals and bread for breakfast. The location is near to the Waikanae shops and right next to the river trail which was great for walks and bike riding. It's only a 45 minute bike ride or a short drive to Waikanae Beach which is great for swimming.

There's literally nothing that could have been improved.

We absolutely loved staying here and the hosts were both super lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to this area, we would 100% stay again. The Garden area is beautiful along with the cottage is beautiful and very clean. The hosts provided everything we could need and more. Thanks for having us :)

Lovely cottage with beautiful garden, hosts were friendly and welcoming, fresh fruit and breakfast supplies on arrival were much appreciated. Will definitely visit again.

Well presented. Perfect little get away.

It was perfect. Little details that made our stay tops. Arrival instructions spot on. The breakfast choices were great. Coffee, chocolates were little extras that were very much appreciated. Walked to eateries. Had a lovely 2 hour walk along the river. Had planned to use the bikes but it was raining so gave up on that idea.

No bathroom upstairs.

The cleanliness and the size of the rooms, there was so much choice for the breakfast, I know where I will be staying next time I travel also the hosts were very obliging they met us when we arrived and they were there to see us off when we left.

Only thing may have been the step down into the lounge/kitchen area but not a biggie.

A gorgeous place in an awesome location!

The hosts were welcoming and available to help out if needed. The location is absolutely awesome! The cottage is gorgeous and comfy, with lots of little extra treats provided!
