A great family vacation.

Great continental breakfast. We liked the family room very much - Nice balcony with mountain view. Clean and comfortable Guest House. By car we were 5 minutes from the beach and all excursions (Hike, dolphin/trips). Ideally located to visit the West of the Island.

Very disappointed

The bed was comfy despite the headboard being covered in stains

Despite robb asking us not to give a review, I think people need to know how bad this property is As we work in hospitality ourselves, I expect an honest review. This property was the worst I ever stayed in. And we have travelled the world. From the dirt in the bathroom and bedroom and the so-called breakfast, not to mention the cockroach running over the top of me in bed. It's in the middle of no where. No facilities or amenities in walking distance. I can't understand why the reviews for this property are so good. I wish I had Googled the reviews before I booked. We did check out and got a full refund for the last remaining days.

I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again when I am in Mauritius

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Great location to visit the West and South of the Island. Close to most excursions. Cody has been very helpful and assisted us the best she could. Le Gite du Bonheur is a great place with great people. We highly recommend it.

We liked everything about the place. From the cleanliness of the property, spacious rooms, the great facilities, and the hospitality of the staff. This guest house has so much to offer. Great gym and spa facilities. Big swimming pool and a nice jacuzzi.

Très beau Gite avec beaucoup de facilités et de verdure

En arrivant nous avons été très bien accueilli par Cody. Une hôte très gentille et serviable. Le Gite du Bonheur est un très beau etablissement, bien entretenu et propre. Divers facilités: Salle de sport, un spa, grande et belle piscine et jaccuzzi. 4 minutes en voiture de la plage et des differentes excursions. Nous avons été impressioné par l'escalier du Gite et de la verdure qui entour celui ci. Nous recommendons vivement. Claire et Julien

Endroit Magnifique, Spacieux, Agéable et Confortable

Très belle décoration interieur - Rustique et avec beacoup de plantes. Les repas sont pris sur la terrasse qui a une vue sur la jolie piscine. Nous avons déjeuner et dîner au Gite presque tous les soirs. Super cadre et excellent repas. Notre chambre avec terrasse qui offre une vue montagne est splendide. Grande chambre, joliment décoré, spacieuse, propre, belle vue et très confortable. Nous remercions toute l'équipe du Gite du Bonheur pour ce merveilleux séjour. Mention spéciale a Cody pour le super partage et de nous avoir guidé a organiser toutes nos sorties. Nous avons été ravi de notre séjour et nous reviendrons très certainement.

A team who organised all of our rentals to excursions and transfers. All staff we encountered are proactive and eager to assist wherever possible. A special note for Cody who has been organising our trip in Mauritius. She was the first person to whom we spoke before our arrival. She went beyond and organised our day planning in things to see on the island. When you book at Le Gite du Bonheur, speak to Cody, she will give you great tips and recommendations :D We experienced a great hospitality and service and we can happily recommend Le Gite du Bonheur Guest House.

Exceptional stay. Great value for money.

What a great experience! Our room was facing the mountain - connecting rooms. Ideal for a family or group traveling. The room and terrace are well-decorated and comfortable. We rented a car from Le Gite du Bonheur as well as had our sea excursions organised by the team. Car rentals and excursions are proposed at great prices. The guest house is located in a quiet area, close enough to the beach (all sea excursions.. dophins, whales...) and to great hiking spots (La Tourelle Mountain Hike). We enjoyed the tranquility and peacefulness of the place.

We enjoyed the great hospitality from Cody. Car rental with Cody is provided at an unbeatable price (brand new). We were here for work and coming back in the evening we had our massage and hammam sessions organised.

Best sleep and stay in Mauritius

The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. Thank you Cody for the great hospitality. We recommend Le Gite du Bonheur and if we come to Mauritius, we will be back!

Wished we would have stayed much longer. Highly advisable to rent a car (In Mauritius in general).

Great place with great people, services and facilities

Thank you Cody and Robin for the great hospitality. We really enjoyed our conversations. The staff are all proactive and helpful. Organised our trip from airport transfers, car rental and sea excursions. The dolphin trip and sunset cruise was amazing! Highly recommended. The room was great! Spacious, clean and well equipped. Le Gite in itself has great facilities: Gym, bar, swimming pool, jaccuzzi, Spa- Hammam , Massage. A place not to be missed when in the region. Thank you for everything. Liam and Paula

Comfortable and spacious room. Well decorated and clean. Value for money. A guest house with a lot of facilities and services. Le Gite du Bonheur organised all of our trip from airport transfers to car rental and boat excursion. Very helpful and proactive staff. We had a great time and a big thank you to Cody for the hospitality and great service.

Excellent and Peaceful Stay

Cody was a great host from the moment we checked-in. Great hospitality and always available to provide needed assistance. Very comfortable beds, clean and well-decorated rooms. Our room had a great sea view! Lovely. The villa has a great rustic decor with various facilities. We enjoyed our drinks from the bar by the pool, our massage and hammam sessions. Thank you again. Lovely stay with a great hospitality

We liked everything about the place. From the decor, facilities, cleanliness and the hospitality! The staff are all very helpful and did assist us in everything we needed. We booked our dolphin trip with Le Gite du bonheur who has their own boat. Great experience. A special note for Cody who has been very helpful and friendly with us. Great value for money

We chose this guest house based on the provided facilities/activities: tennis, squash, spa, hammam, snooker room, gym, Bar, huge swimming pool..... Our kids had a blast! Our room was lovely. Nice decor, our terrace facing the mountain. We rented out our car with le gite du bonheur at a great price. Excellent overall experience.
