Czysta łazienka i pokój.

We really liked our stay at the Luna Country for 3 nights. The Mountain room was comfortable for 3 people. The shower was nice and hot, had a hairdryer. WiFi didn't work ar first but the owner fixed it by sharing a different port.
The room had a little kitchenet, fridge, stove.
Close to the main street, walking distance.
The communication with the host through booking.com needs to be improved. I was not able to connect with the host on booking.com, and the admin from booking.com couldn't connect with them either.

Kleines Hostel
Alles an sich in Ordnung für ein Hostel, aber eben auch nicht mehr. Preis Leistung stimmt nicht, aber das trifft wohl für ganz El Chalten zu.

Very small and cozy hostel, close to some of the major trailheads but not in the center of town (not a problem as the entire length of town can be walked in ~20 mins). The people were nice, the kitchen was clean, the showers were warm, and the staff was helpful and prompt when wifi and heat went out one day. It felt more like one large house with 12 or fewer people in it which is much different than other hostels I've stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to someone visiting El Chalten for the first time!

The hostel was not too crowded, there was also a huge common area.
It was super good for relaxing a bit.

Nothing fancy, but turned out to be a great jumping off point for trekking in El Chalten. Was an enjoyable, and comfortable stay.

host helped me with my luggage up the stairs, however ignored me for check in for a while
bathrooms were run down and very narrow dangerous stairs to carry your luggage up
it’s not near paths so you need to drag your luggage on gravel very hard work alone. very expensive for what it is but everything seems expensive in this town

This place is clean.
The owner told me to pay $4.5 more when I check in. Because booking.com is taking 15% commission from him and he doesn’t want to pay it from his own pocket. I paid with no choice because the whole town is fully booked.

Nice hostel, cosy, excellent atmosphere. We liked the location, bit outside of the mainstreet/town, but only 5 min walking to the center. 2 kitchens. Small dorms.
2 toilets, but always out of toilet paper in the afternoon, a bit annoying to ask the host for more toilet paper all the time.. kitchen equipment pretty worn down, as well as the bed matress.

Great location right at the foot of the trail. Well organized kitchen ficilities for cooking. Very good value.
A bit of a walk from the main street where all restaurants are located.

none
We stayed 3 nights, room and facilities were okay. We paid ARS peso using credit card and they add 21% VAT tax. After we showed him the BOOKING.com what the charges supposed to be, he was unwilling to pay us back the difference that moment.
When the day we checked out (three nights later), we asked again for the refund for the 21% VAT. The host did refund us but with no smile and cold attitude, that morning, we need a taxi and ask him to call and he said, ‘that is not possible’. A shame when others there are all doing that for their guest.

1) It located right in front of the Cerro Torre trek, very convenient.
2) The bathroom was modernized.

the location is amazing, next to 2 trails heads and walking distance to another. The owner is very nice and helpful and will even exchange currency for you.
very basic so nothing more than a bed and a bath and access to a kitchen- which frankly was not a bad thing.

good facilities and wifi. a bit further out of the town but closer to trailheads.
nice owner but he was out a lot so couldn’t drop our bags or ask questions. small bed for a double.

Good bed and quiet location.
The owner charges a very high surplus for payment by credit card. This even though the booking stated that there are no extra charges for credit card.

Cosy comfortable clean rooms with good heating during winter and hot showers!
just slightly far away from town up the hill, but wasn’t a big problem as the town is pretty small and you can walk to town within 10-15 mins. towels were also not very clean

Large kitchen space which was kept warm. Room very cosy and also kept heated at a good temp. Good location for doing walk to Cerro Fitz Roy and other nice walks.
WiFi a bit patchy at times
