Beautiful place, freindly hosts.

That was one of the best experiences during my trip in Spain. The hosts were amicable and caring. I absolutely loved my room and the view out of the window: mountains, horses, and a village. I had a very clean, spacious room, very fresh towels, and a comfortable bed. The hosts were very kind to provide me with a kettle on my request, to organize a taxi drive, and to provide me with water. I didn't speak Spanish and they didn't know English, but we got along very well. Very nice kind people indeed.

That was my fault that I did not do enough research to figure out about buses running to the village. Communication with a train station might be a bit costly if you travel on a budget.

Nice and cosy country side Inn

The location was really nice. A village in the middle of the mountains, the Camino del Rey exit is very near, you can leave the car near to the exit and take a bus to the access (bus is going every 30 minutes and you don't need to be there on time, for which you made the Camino del Rey reservation) The owners were also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

No one from the hostal speaks English, They're very helpful and my boyfriend speaks Spanish so it wasn't a problem, but it might be an issue in a different situation. There also is no shared kitchen or similar.

A great stop-over if you are walking the GR7 trail in Andalucia.

Very friendly reception at a "no frills" hostel which served our purposes well for a walking trip through Adalucia. Clean & tidy room and shower room. Located on the edge of the village with a fair sized restaurant a short walk away. We were given a door key for late night access.

Nothing - it was a fine inexpensive stop-over.

Very good

Bed was comfortable and the room clean. We stayed here to do the Camino del ray. The drive over the mountain to the start was very very windy and narrow, about 18km and half an hour drive. The staff were lovely. The room was dated but clean and comfortable. There is not much here in the village. Only one restaurant open but it was February.

Some dog barking but that's normal for rural Spain. No smart TV

Exceptional

The hostal is very nice and the reception extrem welcoming. The room was cleaned by personal every day. We were two climbers and this wonderful hostal was near to the crags "Valle de Abdalajis" that is a nice climbing sector. My Latvian climbing partner and I spent the best week of our life in El Chorro, Andalucia, climbing and resting very nicely in this hostal.

Superb

The place is incredibly homey and well taken care of, the owners are very kind and helpful, and the location is also great (edge of the village, views to the cliffs). All facilities worked well, parking is straightforward, and generally great value for money. Would definitely stay again!

Some more facilities would be helpful (e.g. hairdryer and water cooker to prepare a thermos for the day for those more outdoors-oriented).

Clean, hospitable hostal with friendly owners providing useful local information (bars, restaurants etc)

A little outside the town centre, if arriving tired after a hike !
