As a solo traveller doing everything d day , I was looking for another typical French hotel not a international chain , in a quaint location but near to sword beach and pegasus bridge . On arrival the young lady on reception/bar and restaurant, was very helpful. She showed me the room , it was such a lovely room , spacious, luxurious and full of character. Would highly recommend it for its location , staff politeness and willingness to please , nothing seemed to be a problem ....☆☆☆☆☆

The room was beautiful in every way. It was comfortable clean and very roomy.
The breakfast was very good. Croissants and Pain au Chocolat lovely and fresh from the bakers. Good coffee. Eggs cheese preserves fruit juice.
The staff were lovely and friendly
We will stop again.

The lady who was in charge was absolutely delightful and could not have been more helpful.
Although our room was clean, the beds were hard and there was a constant smell of damp from the shower, I guess there was no natural ventilation. On the night we arrived we went for dinner but due to a few other groups dining the menu had reduced considerably and the service was incredibly slow, although the ladies servicing were so lovely.

Great Welcome from staff. Room was very comfortable, suitably equipped and had a great evening meal in the restaurant. Good stay and would definitely stay again.
Nothing really. Just for note - the on-site parking is limited, but there is plenty of off road parking directly opposite the hotel.

Convenient location for autoroute and ferry. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and large room for us, a couple and a 14-year-old.

Beautiful spacious room. Nice bed and very good bathroom.
When I read the previous reviews and visited the website of the hotel I was very excited about photos of the food of the restaurant. This was not the case and I think they should remove the photos. The dinner was mediocre at best. The breakfast was not ready when we enter at 8.30 am. Tables were not set. We were seated at booths opposite the reception counter which was not at all the idea we got when looking at the photos on their website. Very disappointing.

Amazing room comfortable bed
Great breakfast
Minor, could have tea and coffee making facilities in room

A very beautiful romantic hotel very big comfortable room and the compound is full of antique atmosphere..
The breakfast is continental and low level. There is not enough to eat in not many optionin addition they charged us 14 euros in stead of 12 as advertised in Booking.com and they didn't tell us that it would be continental breakfast and not buffet it also doesn't appear in the booking

Clean, cosy, calm, friendly. Very good!

Hotel and room are of great character. Warm welcome and helpful considerate advice from the owner. Very comfortable spacious room.
Only 10 minutes drive from Ouistreham ferry port so was an ideal location for an overnight stay before catching the early ferry.
Very limited number of secure parking spaces at the hotel itself. We had to leave the car in a public car park 100m away.
There is no restaurant at the hotel, contrary to what we expected. However we were directed to the restaurant in the Hotel La Glycine across the road which was very good.

The property is just wonderful! Waking up in the morning was like waking up in a small cathedral, the ceiling was really high. Very quirky. It was also spotlessly clean.
We only stayed 3 nights, wish it could have been longer!!

clean and good facilities. friendly staff to give you keys and secure parking

Ferry early morning so no breakfast here.
No complaints at all.
4.4
Great location for access to the village and the port of Caen.
Lovely buildings and gardens and very pleasant simple decor.
.
Breakfast very meagre. 12euros for one croissant, one bread roll, hot drink and orange juice.
Evening meal was a small menu with not all dishes available, and small portions.
More attention needs to be paid to the catering.

The Manoir'Hastings Hotel is fabulous. It is a beautiful building which is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. Parking is secure. It is absolutely the perfect accommodation if you are arriving or departing by ferry at Ouistreham (or if you want to visit places such as Pegasus Bridge). We absolutely loved it and would recommend it without reservation.
When we arrived the lady asked if we were hungry. Unfortunately we had already eaten. Had we have known we would be able to eat when we arrived, we would definitely have taken up that offer.
4.4
In a convenient yet tranquil location 10 minutes drive from Ouistreham ferry terminal and 5 minutes from Pegusus Bridge Memorial, perfect for an overnight stop for a morning ferry or as a base to explore the area. There is some parking at the property and plenty of spaces on the road outside.
Our room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and very tastefully decorated. The accommodation is separated from the restaurant so unlikely to be affected by noise.
We arrived on a public holiday. The hosts made us very welcome and offered an evening meal for us and another couple who were staying, despite the restaurant being closed.
Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to sample the breakfast due to an early start.
Although it's made clear in the booking, it's worth remembering that check-in is not available until 17.00. (If you don't the cafes and bars around Pegusus Bridge are a short walk / drive away).
4.4
Very charming and quiet, attentive staff and management, wonderful historic location for what we wanted to do.
It was unclear where to checkin, but the property is so small the staff saw us arrive.
4.4
Breakfast was lovely but did not have time on the way home as we had to leave at 6.30
4.4
Lovely property in a convenient location for the Ouistreham ferry port.
The room was spacious and comfortable and our host was very welcoming.
Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open but Madame explained it was due to family illness.
For such a large and interesting room, the ensuite toilet was uncomfortably small.
We did make a late booking and so the room was expensive ; really at that cost I would expect breakfast to be included in the rate rather than an additional extra.
4.4
beautiful room and a parking at the property.
everything was fine

Excellent breakfast, lovely room (chambre romantique) and garden.
Some insects.

Great hotel, perfect for the ferry port in Ouistream without the noise and chaos.
