Top Bungalow

The property is beautiful. The staff was the best that we've ever experienced - the most personalised service that we've received at a hotel / resort. We had booked an experience with their private game reserve drive. Singazi, the chef, went out of his way to arrange Halal meat for us for the delicious "bush dinner" at the end of the Drive. We got to see Giraffes, Lions, Springbucks, Wildebeests, etc. Breakfast was amazing too, with Singazi as the chef! Other staff members including Shireen, Brighton and Luke were very helpful. We checked-in very late at 8.30pm, and Shireen made the checking-in process super smooth and even arranged snacks/dinner for us within minutes of our arrival.
The room was fantastic, very modern, and far better than what you would expect in a place like this surrounded by nature. Beds were comfy.
There was a communication gap in the morning elephant national park drive; the experience was supposed to be 4 hours but ended up being close to 6 hours due to the arrangement with another group that was traveling with us. We would have liked to be informed about this prior to the drive as opposed to after it.
We would have preferred that the shower room could be closed as we were staying with children.

Extremely clean, and family friendly

The location is great if you are visiting Addo park.
The food was really nice in the restaurant.
The little petting zoo was also a nice activity for our children. We also loved seeing all the buck roam around the property.
some of the rooms are near to the road so try and make sure you chose a unit away from the road. then it is fine.

Baie skoon en netjies. Restaurant op perseel. Vriendelike personeel. Mooi rustige omgewing.
Naby aan die hoofpad so laat nag en vroegoggend verkeer kan pla as jy lig slaap.

Roomservice (meals)should be nice.

The room was very nice and lovely situation and very comfortable. The restaurant was lovely with the fire and the breakfast was very nice.
That there was only instant coffee in the rooms and that there wasn't a coffee plunger and filter coffee facilities was a bit surprising. Overall I think it was too expensive.

Staff were friendly. food was good, beds comfy
there were not many people staying over, and yet we were put in 2 chalets right near the road. the road was very noisy and a dog barked all night .. a very noisy spot so did not sleep well at all.

Beautiful place right by the entrance to Addo National Park. Chalets are amazing, with all amenities provided and surrounded by a vast area of greenery (some antelopes running around..). Excellent restaurant on site with delicious food and reasonable prices. A nice wildlife sanctuary with small animals and birds free for guests. We loved everything about this place. Highly recommend.

The food at the restaurant was delicious. Lots of small animals onsite to see, which would have been difficult to spot in the wild.
The floor in the room was very sticky, but they cleaned up the next day.

the suites are new , nicely decorated , spacious and comfortable. location is very peaceful and well maintained. the staff are AMAZING and looked after all our needs . very happy staff and so friendly and likeable.
we initially booked a small double room and after 1 night staying there I personally felt anxious . I spoke to the 3 girls in the office ( Bianca, Charmaine and Atta ) that run the property and they were very understanding and upgraded us to a suite straight away at no additional cost. they were so efficient and helpful I was instantly put at ease and accommodated. these girls made our stay so much more enjoyable and relaxing. Michael attended to us daily in the restaurant and was so friendly and efficient. cannot rate the staff higher. They are the best ! we would definitely recommend this property and the suites.

This was a last minute booking as we were not happy with our previous accommodation. We arrived 30 minutes later and everything was ready for us. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They even did our laundry even though we only stayed one night. Our 7 year old son really enjoyed the Wildlife Centre (mini zoo) and petting the rabbits. The entrance fee was included in the price of the accommodation. The view from the restaurant is really beautiful and relaxing.
The food in the restaurant could be better. It was good, just not exceptional as everything else.

We stayed for 2 nights as wanted to visit Addo Elephant National Park. The hotel was wonderful. The room was lovely, very clean and spacious and had views overlooking an area where springboks roamed freely. Staff were all lovely. Would highly recommend.

Great and secure location close to Addo Main Gate, spacious units, very clean and modern furnishing.
quality of food in the restaurant, soggy and greasy chips, cold burger, more batter than hake and totally overcooked. Too bad for such a lovely setup and terrace.

Lovely setting with spring bok running around, an animal farm on site, a great play area for the kids. Friendly and helpful staff. They baked a delicious carrot cake for my husbands birthday, which was the best carrot cake we have ever eaten 😋
We didn't sleep too well as the first night there was music and noise from a nearby bar which started at 10pm as we were going to bed and only stopped around midnight. It was so loud we thought it was someone on the veranda of the next door chalet.
They have a generator on site but still seem to cut the electricity during the night when there is load shedding, so we had 2 nights of interrupted sleep when the air-conditioning went off at 11pm to 2am then 4am to 6am. The lighting in the bedrooms is also far too bright and not comfortable when trying to relax before bed. It would be better if they added some table and floor lamps in the room for softer lighting.

10 minutes from Addo main gate. Beautiful property - well maintained cottages and gardens with a lovely restaurant and cheerful well trained staff who went out of their way to ideal location for families with children. we had a 2 bedroom cottage with 2 en suite bedrooms, spacious lounge and patio.
The kitchen in our cottage was a little low on utensils but weren’t self catering so it wasn’t an issue. otherwise the kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, oven and microwave. All in excellent condition.
