The villa is super cute and the view is amazing! Everything is clean!! The hosts are wonderful and attentive to details with beautiful towels and a welcoming homemade snack! The house has a lot of character. It was very spacious. We really enjoyed the home-made little cakes and the liquor as welcome gift at arrival... it was a nice gesture! :=)
Luis was very friendly and helpful and told us a lot about life in the village and how his tourism project started. Very interesting.
The breakfast was delicious!

A very nicely renovated old Portuguese house; superior cleanliness; pleasant village environment; comfortable.
Unfortunately, right at the time of our visit, there was no hot shower water.

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Cabanelas Country House. The owners - Luis and Fatima - are super friendly and attentive to guest needs. Luis even has given us a tour around the garden and quinta. The house itself is very cozy and fully equipped. It is also close to the geo-park. We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for your hospitality!
Nothing. Everything was great!

We loved everything. Great hot water, fresh drinkable water, air conditioner, TV with all channels and easy parking.
What an amazing stay! I suggest you book this house if you're looking to get away from the fast life of a big city. It's quite near all the amazing restaurants in Arouca, also, there are so many great parks nearby. You can explore the AroucaGeo Park and all the great waterfalls around. The rooster and the turkeys next door are just a great park of the culture, but I hope you don't mind the noise. Take all of nature in and breath the freshest air. We looked forward to fresh bread and pastries every morning. Homemade pastries from D. Fátima were absolutely marvelous. Don't think twice and just book the place!

This is one of the best places we had the pleasure to stay. The house is located in a quiet village and it has everything you may need and more. All the amenities are there, the decoration is just lovely, with so much care for all the details. The host, Luis, is simply a great person, very easy-going and friendly, with amazing energy . He made us feel just like at home, he took the time to show us the surroundings and the garden from where part of the great breakfast comes. We were even able to buy some of the hand-made products they made, which have great quality and use natural ingredients coming from their gardens. I recommend 100% this beautiful place and we will definitely come back.

We booked really last minute and the owner was still able to meet meet us. Compliment for that! It's a cozy house in a really quiet area. Really good for a stop on our way to Lisboa from Porto!
Nothing, everything was perfect!
