Staff were really accommodating. The kitchen knew in advance we were vegetarian and made up a special menu just for us! They also helped to arrange whale watching, snorkelling and bussed us around the island. One member of staff took us on a bonus trip up to the highest point of the island as we were running early for our ferry back to Naha. They were fantastic!

Oh my god. The food, the beach, the staff. Everything was amazing! I cannot emphasize enough how delicious the food was! Big japanese dishes with lots of sides! Leaves you very full and happy :)
The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had to leave early due to a storm which they informed us about. It meant we had to cut our vacation short, unfortunately. I wish I could have stayed longer!
I truly liked everthing! The hotel is a bit old, but its part of the charm. At least the room were really big and spacious! We had a balcony with the view over the beautiful bay.

Quiet and peaceful location.
Amazing snorkeling tour in the bay!
Great breakfast and dinner buffet.
Staff was friendly and helpful :)
Hotel building is a bit aged (but this was not a problem for us).
Not many options for lunch nearby.

I haven't written a long review before but this one will be, because my heart is full.
Tokashiku Marine Village is set on the most wondrous location, directly on Tokashiku Beach. White sand, clear water and a delightful kerama blue ocean with the most spectacular sunset view.
Take a dip and swim with tropical fish and magical turtles. Then, take your trash with you, and keep the home of your new friends alive and healthy.
The staff at Marine Village were absolutely lovely. Attentive, service-minded, joyful and kind.
The hotel offer free shuttle bus to the port, and to Aharen Beach by request. They rent out equipment for various water activities.
There is a small shop in the lobby with necessities: beverages, instant noodles, snacks, beach wear and souvenirs.
I had breakfast and dinner daily. It is buffet style and the dishes vary from day to day. It was simple and great. (Hope they will consider offering more vegetarian options some day.)
I stayed for five nights in the japanese style room with sea view.
The hotel would benefit from renovation but I couldn't care less. You're on Tokashiki aka heaven.
Grateful. I had the most sensational time.
Thank you so much!

The landscape and the beach are marvellous. This might be the most beautiful piece of nature I ever saw in my life. We brought our own snorkling equipment (which I highly suggest) and where able to see a grand variety of fish and even green turtles in the coral reeve directly in the bay. Also you can explore wild beaches during low tide or do some hiking on the island.
The staff in the hotel is very nice and the food is tasty.
The hotel is a bit outdated and feels like a former school hostel but for the price its okay.

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable - they were so helpful and kind at every single interaction. Breakfast and dinner were included for me, which were both delicious.
The location of the hotel is literally right next to the beach, and one can rent beach towels etc.
For excursions from other places from Aharen beach a shuttle is offered twice a day, which I thought was very nice.

We really enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, the food and the great hotel employees. They went above and beyond to make our trip nice and enjoyable.
The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was that the bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship and I felt like I was on the high seas while I was in there.

Amazing, peaceful and immersed in nature location.Hotel staff was very kind and helpful, and food at the hotel was pretty nice too.
The facilities require some renovations, update and also would be nice to have a better view of the sea from dining area (the small house with the scuba diving stuff is blocking the view of the amazing bay)

the location is superb and the staff is really nice. also they offer free shuttle bus around the main beaches and ports of the island
full of hair in the room on my arrival
facility seems to be built in the 60s and never renewed
food was below average, dinner was ok but lunch was horrible

The location of the hotel was perfect! The surrounding area is beautiful.
The price of the hotel is a but much, even just for one day. If prices are that way, maybe prices packages would be more beneficial. As in free tours packages for snorkeling.

The staff was amazing !! Very helpful. Also the free shuttle bus from the port and to the other beach was pretty convenient. The little shop provided any snacks or water you may need. The breakfast and dinner included was not bad but not great either. Being able to extend check out was a huge help so that you aren’t sitting around for hours until it’s time to leave for the port. Nice view of the beach and easy beach access.
The room was horrible. We found a roach which made it uncomfortable to sleep since We had to sleep on the floor. The water has a bad odor when you turn it on and the room itself smells really bad as well. The elevator has a bad smell as well. For the amount of money you spend you would think the rooms would be a lot better.

Direct access and view on the beach
The manager is nice and helpful.
The hotel is old and the rooms very basic.
Not very clean and the staff is seasonal and not
well trained. The food is poor at quality and the
menu is always the same

The staff was outstanding! Very friendly and so supportive! For example they helped us with changing our ferry connection and proactively informed us about prolonging our check out time.
The location was perfect. Directly at a nice beach. We were even lucky to swim with a turtle twice!
Don’t expect a luxury beach resort, than there is no reason to complain!

Staff were incredibly helpful with both advice and accommodations, it's in a beautiful location, and the included meals were amazing!
Honestly can't think of anything!

The staff at Tokashiku Marine Village were the highlight of our trip! They were super friendly and made our stay there very comfortable and memorable. We stayed there for my fiancé’s birthday and they gave him a sweet little card 😊 The property is beachfront and we were able to take a tour to see sea turtles right off the beach of the property. The room was pretty standard, but the food was good! And they also have a shuttle bus to pick you up from the port!

the staff were very helpful. we asked to change rooms because our room was tiny and very old and they offered a western style one in much better state.
there are shuttles to pick you up from the ferry and to take you to another beach.
The hotel needs a revamp. our first room ( Japanese style) was really in a poor state.

Great location, right on the beach; the beach is really nice. There’s a convenient store located in the hotel which is nice.
elevator didn’t work.

First of all: You are hosted by a very friendly and helpful staff!
The hotel is perfectly located on a beautiful beach with stunning clear water! In addition you can choose a lot of beach activities!
The dinner buffet was very good with a great selection. The breakfast was ok, despite it was lacking any fruits.
The hotel shop offers in addition what you might need on drinks, sweets and some other items!
If you book the Western style rooms you will have a lot of space. The tiny tatami rooms with futon bed might fit for one or two nights. We were more than happy that we got the bigger room as an upgrade for our 8 nights stay.
Don't expect a kind of chic boutique hotel! The hotel comes with a charm of a hospital regarding the style and interior execution. In addition I think that only using plastic plates and paper cups in the restaurant does not fit at all to any hotel standard on this price level.

Great location and the food was delicious with generous portions. Also the room had ice cold AC which was much needed on hot summer days and the staff wa super friendly.
It wasn't as nice as the price and pictures lead me to believe.

The hotel is located next to a beautiful white sand/ coral beach where you can see turtles and manta rays. Most of the time my partner and I had the beach to ourselves but I believe this was due to our visit being in the off season.
All though the hotel had an old fashioned feel this did not affect our holiday as the grounds and location are just amazing.
IMPORTANT the staff catered for vegan diet without any issues and allowed use to select separate meal times in a location of our choice. For my partner and I this personal touch was greatly appreciated adding to an outstanding holiday.
Would recommend the stand up paddle tour as well. Well priced for what you receive.
The staff were extremely friendly and happy to accommodate our needs.
Would love to visit again.
