Good area. Very peaceful surroundings.
Complete lack of privacy. We could hear the hosts directly above us. I requested extra coffee the next morning to be left in the lounge. However, the one host became creepy and waited outside our bedroom door the next morning. She deliberately overheard our conversation and accused us of smoking in the room. We had a suspicion that the bedrooms had cameras in it. A full week later , I was sent a bill from the host claiming extra cleaning costs for curtains in rooms, which we did not stay in. Booked for 2 nights, but we left the next morning. It was simply too creepy. They even locked the kitchen area, so you have no access to microwave or fridge. Worst stay of my life and ridiculously overpriced for a "simple guesthouse". Not to mention the hosts started stalking my online social media profiles such as LinkedIn etc. If you want to feel like you are in school following the teachers every instruction for a holiday which you paid for, then give them a try. The idea was to make us feel like we were at home but it was anything but. I guess being an interracial couple did not help either.

Excellent B&B; breakfast was fantastic; bedroom was very comfortable and warm; electric blankets and heater included.
The location was a bit secluded, which made it difficult to find, but this seclusion adds to the pleasant atmosphere in the facility.

Had a lovely stay at Cybele Lodge. Situated in a beautiful area, with a feeling that you are in a tropical forest. At night you hear the bush babies and during the day, lovely sounds of birds chirping and singing. My lovely host and hostess Trevor and Andrea saw to it that I felt at home the moment I got out of the car. After lead to my room, tea was served on stoep. It was peaceful and lovely. The next morning a lovely breakfast was served. Granola with berries and yogurt, fresh fruit juice, freshly baked muffin with homemade jam. Followed by a lovely hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, feta, tomatoes and herbs, exquisitely presented. WhatsApps were sent before and after my stay following up and making sure that I was not in lack of anything. Thank you Trevor and Andrea!

Our hosts went to so much trouble for us as we had a very long drive to get there and had unscheduled delays along the way. They gave us a late supper and were extremely helpful. The meals were delicious and we would definitely go back and stay there again.

Exceptional friendly hosts and lovely pets. 9 9
A coffee percolate and some other variety of tea bags would be great

Trevor and Andrea were amazing hosts, made us feel like friends visiting.
Breakfast was delicious with the best Muesli ever eaten.
A perfect and tranquil location, far away from the hustle and bustle of the town.

Warm, caring service which created serenity and peace, in unpretentious and comfortable accommodation. Set in large grounds, with beautiful forest-like setting and lush gardens, all creating a very relaxed atmosphere. Delicious breakfast, kind hospitality from the owner Trev and friendly well-behaved dogs will definitely warrant a return visit to this oasis in a convenient setting.
