Pretty good stay fir a pub , rooms done up really nicely

Ok for 1 night if there was no where else, and you don’t value sleep

kitchen use, although an airfryer would be a fantastic addition as there’s no oven.

Log fire didn’t work, wifi didn’t work, shower dangerously slippery I nearly went through the shower screen. Had to shower standing on a towel . All windows have drafts as old (to be expected) The freight train honks horn right outside your window at 130am and 6am, hotel located on a roundabout and freight train line.

Difficult to sleep with the noise from external equipment but needed the window open for air flow.

The room was clean. The pillows and sheets were good. There was a flyscreen on the window and a good blind. My mattress was comfortable. There was a good kitchen, dining and lounge area.

The key needed to be collected from the public bar. We needed the window open as there was no air conditioning or fan in the room. There was a very noisy piece of equipment below our 3rd floor window which regularly turned on and off. The room only contained 2 single beds, an old, small bedside cabinet, luggage holders, panel heater, wall TV, and a small rubbish bin. It felt quite barren. Not keen on there only being shared toilet and bathroom facilities.

Zimmer im 2. Sock nur über mehrere, zum Teil sehr enge, Treppen erreichbar, mit Gepäck sehr schwierig. Gemeinschaftsbad muss mit vielen geteilt werden und ist schnell nicht mehr sauber. Billige Kneipenatmosphäre. Zimmer sehr hellhörig.

Small cute town, great bakery up the street for breakfast and dinner in the hotel was fine

We were in room 15, next to the laundry and an exhaust vent from the kitchen. I had requested a quiet room; so when I called down to the pub, Ellie sorted it all out and we were fine.

Everything was immaculate, clean and comfortable. Perfect for our stay. Could not be happier. The building was absolutel

We loved everything! This beautiful old building was everything I’d hoped for. The room was comfortable and warm with lovely furnishings. The staff were really very friendly and looked after us really well. The meals were Devine. The views were absolutely stunning and we wanted to stay longer but time didn’t permit.

The stairs were difficult with our luggage and my mum struggled a little but we managed. In an old building like this we didn’t expect lifts… just worth noting for people who may struggle with stairs. We did have the deluxe family room right at the top so there are other rooms on lower levels to accomodate for this.

Clean and comfy but wouldn't stay again

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a good size and warm. Plus it was clean.

Shower door wouldn't stay closed so there was a draft. There was a noise coming from the hotel that kept waking me up. Sounded like a dryer or heater whirring on and off all night. Very frustrating. Initial contact with girl behind the bar to check in was disappointing. The instructions she gave to park my car and get to my room were inadequate and there was no explanation of meals or use of facilities so I didn't eat or do anything other than sleep here.

Everyone in Deloraine were super friendly. Loved the accommodation as it was perfect and had everything l needed to rest each evening after a big day exploring.

booked this hotel because of the Era it was built, love the high ceilings etc.................. would have loved to have breakfast provided as the shops in the main street are mediocre.

No kitchen - misleading in advertisement.

Shared bathrooms and shared lounge area are very nice and clean, plentiful off street parking

There is no kitchen — the listing needs to be updated to say kitchenette, as it only has a microwave, plates/bowls/utensils, a kettle and a fridge. You cannot cook food here. Contrary to what the owner says in response to in people’s reviews, this is clearly mis-advertised as of 5/2/2023 in the listing and should be updated. I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming as I was unprepared to not be able to cook. It seems I am not the only one who shows up and is disappointed. The rooms are comfortable but border a busy street and the street light and noise does come into the room around the windows/curtains.

My stay was comfortable & peaceful.

Convenient location in walking distance to beautiful river & park, services & shopping. Would Maintained it’s historic elegance while offering contemporary comfort. I would be happy to recommend it to my friends to stay, dine or have a drink. Excellent value for money.
