Wonderful atmosphere and spacious
Tarcombe House is beautiful, very clean and feels elegant. It also has a home-like feeling with books, games and a fireplace. The location is great too, easy walking distance to the Main Street. The deck and garden is lovely. We've stayed at Tarcombe House on two separate occasions because we love it so much... and we'll be back!

A house with character
We made Tarcombe House our base to Cradle Mountain and Launceston. It is a beautifully restored old house full of character and very comfortable. The two bedrooms with ensuites were perfect for two couples travelling together. We enjoyed the wood fire in the evenings in the cosy loungeroom. The claw foot bath was also welcoming after a hard day walking in the mountains. It was a nice surprise to have fresh bread and eggs provided for breakfast.
