Fabulous terrace with fantastic views. Comfortable seating and sunbeds, with shaded area when it gets too hot. The location is great a stroll away from shops and restaurants

l. We were travelling by train from Palermo - and Salvatore recommended we take a taxi from the train station to the apartment - 15 euros for those who are interested.- only about a 5 min drive. Salvatore was waiting outside the apartment for us. He took his time to show us thoroughly around the apartment, point out how to get to the beach/public transport etc - and he was just lovely and welcoming! The apartment itself is fantastic - new, clean, modern (with some traditional touches). The bathroom was brilliant - and spotless - with a huge shower (with bench). Two bedrooms - both spotless - one with a balcony overlooking the street at the front of the property. Not a particularly inspiring view but, boy , does the terrace at the back make up for it. It is spectacular! Huge - with views over Giardini Naxos Bay and up to Taormina. Honestly, so beautiful we sometimes didn't want to leave. So well equipped as well - with sunloungers/sofas and coffee table. Particularly stunning at night. It's about a 4 min walk to the beach - you can choose to pay for the sunloungers a bit further along or just opt for the freebie public beach . We did the latter. You are minutes walk from all the shops and restaurants on the seafront - there are small grocery stores on the street itself - and the public bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk away - you can catch the bus to Taormina or to Catania in the other direction. There's a lounge /kitchenette and dining area - everything you could need to do basic cooking (no kettle for all you tea lovers though!) But with all those restaurants on your doorstep , don't know why you would want to. We appreciated the facilities for breakfast. There is a trainline running behind the property but we honestly hardly noticed the noise of the trains passing. Tours for Taormina and beyond leave from the bus on the seafront too.
Nothing negative to say - we'd love to go back and would highly recommend to anyone.

Great location, very close to Taormina with a good selection of local restaurants, Cafe's, bars and supermarkets. Salvatore was a great host with lots of recommendations. The balcony was massive and got plenty of sun, perfect for evening drinks. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Amazing apartment lovely furnished with all the necessary to make your stay easy. And what a view from the terrace !
The landlords are nice and have always good recommendations.
The location is really convenient to visit around, the shops and the beach are walking distance which is quite nice!
I would also recommend to book the parking with them if available otherwise not super easy outside during peak season
All the floors to climb to arrive in the apartment but it’s definitely the price to pay to have an amazing view !

Excellent location. Beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Host gave us excellent information about restaurants and local attractions. Also lovely smaller touches such as novels, record player & records and brochures on local area. Air conditioning worked well and lovely big shower.
A bit noisy and would like some more utensils in the kitchen (tongs, coffee machine, clothes drying rack, chopping board & toaster would be good).
