Relaxing and comfortable short stay

Spacious, cozy and well equipped apartment. Even spare light bulbs were available, which we did need. Host was kind and helpful and quickly available to answer our questions. We could check in earlier. WiFi is good. Small but well-equipped and well-lighted kitchen. Nice restaurants, harbor and Alvor's nature walk within walking distance.

The sea view was interrupted by some tall apartment buildings. The bed was comfortable but wobbles when the other person turns over. There is a road close by with considerable traffic, making it somewhat noisy when sitting on the balcony.

Highly recommend!! The appartment was spotless, perfect location, very convenient!

Everything was pretty straightforward, because Maria waited for us before our arrival, we arrived a bit late, but she waited anyway, was very nice and showed us everything.

Vila da Praia Review

Great location near to beach and town. Good swimming pool. Maria was helpful and efficient - follow-up call on morning after arrival was reassuring in case we had any problems. Cleaning and cooking supplies were very useful.

A better clothes drier would have been a bonus. Couch was a little uncomfortable.

Good space in decent location

Large lounge and good bedroom space, small outside area with view of the sea in the distance, bed comfortable, plenty of kitchen equipment if you want to cook, good eating places in Alvor , pool area not too busy, would book again

Everything was fine, traffic could be annoying if you let it but hey, you’re on holiday

Enjoyable stay at a lovely apartment.

We were met on time by the hosts, despite a late check in at 11.00pm, who showed us around and highlighted wifi code and key entrance. Apartment was better than we expected with everything we needed. Bed very comfortable and balcony was lovely to sit out on with the sea view. Central location and we had stayed on the complex previously so wanted the benefits it could provide. Close to the marina and the main strip of bars and restaurants with a local supermarket two minutes walk away. We will be looking to visit again later in the year.

A mirror in the bedroom but there were many others available so not really an issue.

fantastic home from home

it had everything we needed and more,washer,extra bedding,towels cleaning things,a fabulous shower.really good internet connection, information around the apartment about the local area.A proper home from home,contact from the hosts was fabulous, before during and after,nothing was too much trouble,even telling us about NYE music an fireworks, fantastic location you see the sea an alvor boardwalk from the balcony it’s 2min away, it’s less then 5 min in to the town,your in a lovely gated community,it’s at the bottom of the town on the flat an a lift is available for anyone with mobility issues,this is a place my husband and I will more then happily return to this lovely home from home, highly recommend it.

Superb

This sunny, spacious apartment was one of the best-equipped we have ever stayed in, and only five minutes walk from the beach and - in the other direction - the town nightlife. There was a good kitchen, excellent lighting that allowed you to read in bed (or anywhere else). The hosts were very helpful and made our stay a comfortable one. There is a balcony that looks out over the sea, and is great for meals even out of season, because it is sheltered. The bedroom is large and comfortable, and was quiet. The flats as a whole are quiet, a little traffic noise from the one busy road out front seemed to get through the double glazing into the lounge - perhaps amplified by the hard surfaces of the balcony. Still, on the other hand you can hear the crash of the surf too, which is wonderful! The owners tell me this window is to be replaced, so hopefully that will soon be sorted.

Great apartment near the great beach at Alvor.

We had a great stay at Seaview at Vila da Praia. We were met by Maria for an early check-in and she explained how various things worked and where the local supermarket was. The apartment is light and spacious, on the top floor of the small block - so no noise from above! We slept very well in the comfortable bed and used the well equipped kitchen on a number of evenings. I believe there is underground parking but we didn't use it as there was always parking right outside the flat within the private gated area. The location is great a few minutes walk to the beach and boardwalk and in the other direction a few minutes and you are by the harbour and village with cafes and restaurants. The supermarket is two minutes away on foot and very well stocked. We had a lovely holiday with great walks on the doorstep. We particularly liked a delicious lunch at Restaurante Atlantida at Tres Irmaos Beach on our last day. If we return to Alvor, Seaview at Vila da Praia would definitely be our first choice. A lovely, clean, comfy and homely apartment.

It was extremely well appointed and extremely comfortable. The bed was large and comfy, as was the lovely sofa. It was like a real home from home, not just a bland apartment. Beautifully clean,and very friendly, helpful and efficient hosts, for whom nothing was too much trouble.

A few more mugs for hot drinks would be nice,as well as a large clothes airer, to be able to dry a whole load of washing from the washing machine. There was a small airer big enough to dry swimwear and a couple of towels though. But a proper big one would be good. These are very small issues, and didn’t spoil our stay.

Location. Apt was lovely and very clean. The host was very helpful and was there to meet and greet us. Very close to Alvor and all amenities and lovely restaurants.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The location is ideal for getting to the beach and a short walk to bars and restaurants. The pool and garden area are very nice and tidy. We have already booked for next year.

Just a very small thing. The bathroom is quite dark and could do with brighter lights. And perhaps a full length mirror. But other than that perfect.

Great stay and perfect apartment for small family

Perfectly located close to the beach, supermarket, and restaurant the accommodation had everything we (parents with 1year old) needed. Our toddler enjoyed herself and so did we. There is a big pool that can be used as well, if the sea seems too cold. Maria was very nice and helpful and gave us good tips for breakfast and a store to buy a birthday cake (Confeitaria D'Alvor, also recommended; the cake was delicious). Accommodation is highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. Just a tip: Just keep in mind, that there are still a couple hundred meters to the beach left (as from all other apartments). With a stroller that can be a bit annoying (roads are not perfectly paved). So we even drove the couple hundred meters to the beach parking lot to take the stroller from there (and the other stuff a 1year old needs).
