Enjoyed my short stay. Very friendly staff, especially the young gentleman who greeted me upon my late arrival.

Smart but could be more generous.

It is well decorated and presented in a clean efficient way. Its functional and is between a comfy hotel room and rather severe self catering. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There is a large restaurant area that needs promoting better. We had to ‘squeeze out’ the fact you could enjoy tasty good quality food on site. Yes it could be a bigger menu but the simple addition of pizzas or pies would satisfy most weary travellers.

Very limited on tea coffee for room - had to ask for fresh milk. When you are travelling you do not have everything with you and it’s not a difficult thing to offer more than one sachet of coffee, one of rooibos and one of tea! For two people???? Parking a nightmare with big vehicles and trailers.

A good comfortable place to stay. Very well equipped apartment. Very good location close to shops and restaurants. A swimming pool which unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of. Lovely cafe with a delicious breakfast served. Very recommended place to stay.

very nice hotel in Keetmanshoop

it was our second stay in this hotel after 2023 on the way from Kalahari to Cape town and the hotel is still very nice. new building with a a nice swimming pool to cool down. the staff and managers are also very friendly. we will be back

Perfekte Unterkunft nicht nur für eine Nacht

Die Ausstattung und der Innenhof der Anlage ist sehr geschmackvoll mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.

Es gab keinen Stromanschluss auf dem Parkplatz, so dass wir die Kühlbox über Nacht laufen lassen konnten.

Ein spektakuläres Guesthouse in bester Lage. Alles neu, sehr sauber, modern und praktisch. Voll ausgestattete Wohneinheit, Parkplatz, Pool und Relax Areal. Lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Preis phänomenal!

es gibt bestimmt auch andere Unterkünfte vor Ort

der Schützenhof ist als Restaurant in Sichtweite und fußläufig zu erreichen. Einzig der Preis ist hier überzeugend, wenn auch ohne Frühstück. Das haben wir nicht dazugebucht, für N$ 120 pro Person kann man die Eigentümer und Angestellten mit versorgen, ist vielleicht auch so gedacht - das Mißfallen der Vermieterin hierüber war deutlich am Gesicht abzulesen.

wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort, werden aber sicherlich nicht wiederkommen. Wer mit einem größeren Auto kommt, hat Probleme mit dem Rangieren, weil alles doch sehr beengt und zugebaut ist. Hauptsache, die Dame des Hauses kann ihre Wohnung in der hintersten Ecke des Areals problemlos mit dem Auto erreichen - das wurde auch als extrem wichtig hervorgehoben. Das Zimmer hatte große Schiebetüren aus Milchglas, die sich nicht verdunkeln ließen, es gab keine Vorhänge. So sind wir also fast bei Tagesanbruch aufgestanden. Im Vorfeld hatte es angeblich Probleme mit der Akzeptanz unserer Kreditkarte gegeben (allerdings sonst nirgendwo!). Man wollte einen kleinen Betrag abbuchen und sofort wieder zurückbuchen. Wir sollten das sofort akzeptieren und die Kreditkartendaten nochmals per e-mail aufgeben, obwohl sie dem Buchungsportal seit Jahren vorliegen - sonst würde die Reservierung storniert. Das klang mir zu sehr nach Betrugsmasche eines gehackten Kontos und ich habe das bei booking.com gemeldet und auch dem Vermieter geschrieben. Erst nach der dritten Ermahnung zur Stellungnahme kam die Bestätigung, dann doch erst vor Ort zahlen zu dürfen.

Absolut weiter zu empfehlen

Ein super durchdachtes Konzept: Schlafzimmer mit kleiner Küche und Bad. Außerdem gibt es einen Swimmingpool und gemütlich schöne Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innenhof. Wer mag, geht ins Restaurant oder Bistro. Uns hat es sehr gefallen!

Ein guter Ort für eine Pause, aber auch um die Ummgebug zu erkunden

Keetmanshoop war eine von mehreren Tagesstaionen auf unserer Reise. Das Quiver Inn ist relativ neu und unser Zimmer war groß genug und hüsch eingerichtet. Für unsen Zweck eine sehr gute Wahl. Das Team ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Parken im Hof direkt vor dem Zimmer erlaubt leichtes Aus -und Einladen des Gepäcks. Einkaufen und Essen gehen in der Nähe sind ebenfalls ein Vorteil. A/C und W-Lan sind ohne Beanstandung. Das leckere Frühstück wird im freien oder in einer geschmackvoll umgebauten Halle serviert und wer möchte kann am sauberen Pool entspannen. Wir würden das Quiver Inn wieder buchen.

Nur die leider offensichtlich notwendigen Zäune und Sicherheitseinrichtungen

Kleine Oase mit Pool und Garten

Wir haben hier auf unserer Rundreise eine Nacht verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Attraktionen wie Giants Playground und Quiver Tree Forrest sind in 15 Min. gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Unser Apartment war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles war neu und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig freundlich. Wir haben uns vor Ort noch das kleine, internationale Frühstück dazu bestellt. Es gibt ein kleines Buffet und frische Eier Speisen werden à la minute zubereitet. Da wir an einem Sonntag dort waren und das Restaurant geschlossen hatte, waren wir im Schützenhaus lecker und gutbürgerlich zum Abendessen.

Als Zwischenaufenthalt auf dem Weg nach Lüderitz perfekt

Das Zimmer ist relativ groß mit einer Küche, d.h. Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, was ich gebraucht habe, war vorhanden. Die Parkplätze waren kostenlos und perfekt angelegt. Man konnte abends im Hotel essen, das Essen war ok, nichts Besonderes. Für uns war dies ein Zwischenaufenthalt auf dem Weg nach Lüderitz und zum Besuch des Köcherbaum-Waldes. Dieser allerdings stellte sich als sehr verwirrend heraus. Keine Schilder, keine Wegweiser - man wusste nicht wo man entlang laufen sollte und um dort hinzugelangen musste man über eine Schotter-Piste. Das Frühstück war auch lecker, Käse, leckeres Omelette wude zubereitet, Wurst fehlte.

Beim Frühstück fehlte Wurst und es gab nur Äpfel als Obst.

Feine Unterkunft auf dem Weg in den Süden!

Schöne Zimmer, sehr sauber. Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis! Ein kleiner Pool ist vorhanden, den wir sehr genossen haben. Im hauseigenen Shop gibt es feine Dinge zu kaufen. Ein schöner Garten mit Mangobaum und Grill lädt zum Relaxen ein. Für 120 N$ kann man ein leckeres Frühstück dazu buchen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Abendessen in Gehnähe im Schützenhaus macht den Aufenthalt perfekt.

Für die Durchreise nach Süden eine sehr gute Adresse

Das Zimmer ist sehr freundlich eingerichtet, sogar eine kleine Küche gehört dazu. Wir waren zum Abendessen die einzigen Gäste, dennoch hat uns das überaus freundliche Personal sehr gut bekocht, alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Das Auto kann auf dem abgeschlossenen Gelände geparkt werden, in der Nacht gibt es einen Sicherheitsdienst.

Da gibt es nichts.

Extremely friendly reception (even after a long day and for a late check-in), helpful and accommodating. Super clean, modern rustic decor. Clean and proper towels and bedding. Very comfortable.

The bathroom could have been half a meter wider. It's a bit of a tight squeeze.

Great place to stay.

The staff were magnificent. Specifically Mariam at reception and Mathew (Matheus) in the bistro and at breskfast. Fantastic service by both. The room, amenities, towels and linnen was outstanding.

I previously asked for scatter carpets on the cold tile floors and it was just ignored. I see other people had the same complaint. The owners will just not listen.

The best stay in Keetmanshoop.

We got the idea that it is a new development because everything was spick and span. The friendliness of the staff was exceptional. Specially Matheus with his outstanding cappuccinos was a delight.

Two little carpets next to the bed would be appreciated.
