WE needed a mid-week break, and this ticked all the boxes

Loved the Bottle wine and chocolates on arrival and the feel of the bedrooms and living area with fire brilliant.

Cosy and comfortable

Very cosy. Loved the wood fire and bed was comfortable. Great having Netflix’s for the evening.

Very hard to find driveway in the dark. A light to illuminate driveway is a must. Would have liked more wood for fire, it is such a great feature in property, it’s a shame it was rationed, given the price paid to stay at the property.

I wasn't aware it was attached to a house or another rental, which is fine but took some of the character and privacy away from it.

Great getaway

Located in a quiet street set in a beautiful garden and had all the comforts needed for relaxing stay has the weather wasn't great. Plenty of room for 2 with kitchen meals area, bathroom with Spa, lounge with fireplace and comfortable bedding.

Exceptional

This was lovely accomodation! The owners were more than happy for us to change the dates when my partner got covid, and were very hospitable. There were lots of lovely touches in the place which made all the difference. The bed was particularly comfortable too. Thanks for a great stay!

A fantastic property, well fitted out and close walk to the lake.

we loved our stay here. it was a cosy well fitted out property. A short walk to the lake. Perfect for a couple.

The gravel drive is steep and slippery in rainy conditions.

Lovely place, beautiful garden, stylish decor, roomy spabath, everything we needed and more.

Fabulous garden. Great location, we could walk to the lake and the centre of town. Stylish accomodation, with fireplace (that we didn't actually use) and fully equipped for cooking etc.

It was like being in heaven

The house was beautifully presented and the heater was on when we walked in making it very cosy. Really appreciated the wine and chocolates left by the owner who is such a delightful man eager to make our stay the best. The gardens are spectacular and the whole weekend was peaceful and calm with the sound of birds filling the air. Top quality plates, glasses and cutlery and modern comfortable furniture. A beautiful place inside and out.

Everything was perfect. We sleep in a Kingsize bed at home so maybe this bed could have been a little bigger but it was still very comfortable.

Perfect space for relaxing in Daylesford

Great property in quiet street, in perfect walking distant to the lake and the town centre. Very clean, well stocked and furnished beautifully. Though every effort was made in the property (heaters, fires, blankets!) make sure you rug up if travelling in winter!

A perfect getaway.

Cottage was perfect. Having the heater on when we arrived was very considerate. Loved the little touches such as the wine and chocolates and fresh native flowers. Very cosy and beautifully decorated.
