Les ustensiles de cuisine sont assez vieux. Une casserole avec des trous et cela coule quand on cuisine.

Wonderful hostel.

The staff was so kind and helpful. The property was the zen and calm my friend and I needed. There is a great lounging area that I spent most evenings in. The kitchen had everything I needed to make my meals and they offer free water. I loved this hostel!

They were expanding the property so I didn't see what the potential of this place will be.

We really did enjoy!

We slept the first two nights in the cabin with own bathroom, which was really nice. A cute nice small cabin, and we got a towel! The hostel itself is nice and small, nice guest. Kitchen you can use, everything is clean. They made nice spots to sit/chill everywhere. The hosts are really kind, help you with everything (booking tours/shuttles etc). And they have really nice dogs!

The last night we slept in the dorm and It was way too hot... I slept on top and those spots dont have there own ventilator. Really necessary with the heat... also the fridge is a little small for that many people, and the pans are a little old. Besides that, everything was really great!

Tolle Atmosphäre & super nette Mitarbeiter

Wir wurden super nett empfangen, haben Infos zur Insel, den verschiedenen Aktivitäten bekommen und das Hostel hat eine tolle Atmosphäre. Außerdem ist es sauber, in der Nacht leise zum schlafen und das Frühstück super lecker und mit Liebe gemacht.

Meraviglioso

Senza dubbio il piú bell'ostello che ho visitato nei miei viaggi. La passione e la cura si percepiscono in ogni angolo, niente è lasciato al caso, nè trascurato. Bei materiali, bei colori, begli arredi. Struttura in completa armonía con la natura. Splendido giardino curato. Pulizia eccellente. Ottime le proposte di escursioni e possibilitá di affitto bici/moto o moto taxi. Proposte di colazione, pranzo, cena eccellenti. Posizione nel centro di Balgue.

Amazing!

La Urraca all a was a little cosy home on Ometepe. The design is quirky, using eco materials, and everything was well thought through. We were shocked to have our first warm shower! Breakfast was well priced. The bed was comfy. We loved our stay!

The upstairs hang out area could have more fans to help with the heat.

Kind staff, great food and location

Great location in Balgue and the place is surrounded by nature, and despite this it is very clean. The owners are super kind and you can sense their love for this place. Tasty breakfast (homemade bread) and food available at the hostel (good italian food for lunch and dinner as one of the owners is Italian!). They were happy to provide advice and information on what to do in the area. Communal space upstairs was amazing and relaxing. The chickens running around the garden was giving exactly the vibes you get around Ometepe Island. Loved it here.

The shower had cold water, but it was bearable.

A beautiful place!

A beautiful hostel that is kind of in the middle of a garden/forest and it’s magical. There’s a really nice and comfortable chill area, the kitchen is small but had what I needed and the owners are very helpful and nice

Lovely and quiet with amazing food

Lovely clean and clean hostel, very small capacity so very quiet and lots of comfy areas to chill. The food was the best part, the nicest pasta you will get in Nicaragua cooked by the Italian owner and delicious smoothies aswell.

Water was a bit too cold in the showers, would never want or expect a hot shower when it's so hot there anywhere but was particularly cold water.

One of the best hostels in Ometepe!

Everything you need is here, good kitchen, comfy beds, vehicle hire, tours, great breakfast. Very close to nice restaurants like Campestre etc…

nice and quiet little hostel

very quiet and cozy place with a super comfy chill out area the staff only speaks Spanish but is very nice renting a scooter and booking a guide for the volcano was very easy

private room: toilet and shower are in the same room (you have to know each other well or leave the room occasionally) When we left we wanted to book a taxi to go to another part of the island and the staff was not able to arrange that. They could only arrange moto taxis which was pricey and not very safe with all our luggage and without a helmet

Nice garden and hammock space. The staff are friendly. Clean rooms.

The bar fridge is too small for all the guests to use! It also didn't get that cold and food became warm. The kitchen requires another gas burner, 3 stoves is not enough for the entire hostel to use. The bed is probably the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on.

Staff were really nice, love the open air feeling of the place. The gardens are lovely and you feel like you are really in nature. The dorm also had lots of windows and could open the door with fly net to keep it from getting too hot!

the place is very pretty and natural ! the rooms and the entire place is spotless ! they have a lil restaurant and the food is delishhhhh and healthy ! the staff is super friendly and they provide you with great assistance !

it was a lil tricky finding it but not a big deal, you can ask around and follow the signs once you are in the right direction

An amazing hostel, with the friendliest and most helpful staff and lovely chill vibes. Super clean and comfortable, this is definitely the best hostel on Ometepe Island and I would recommend it to everyone :) They have a well-equipped kitchen to cook in and a tasty menu - try the salad bowl and the crepes they are soooo tasty! There is a cosy hammock chill out space too.

it’s absolutely gorgeous and located in the jungle at the base of volcan maderas. the owners and staff are beautiful and so helpful and will organise any tours for you or help you with anything you need. I also loved that there was a fully functioning kitchen. loved the family vibes of this hostel!

The property is situated in a beautiful setting with a lovely relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Everything was super clean and neat, with everything you could need during a stay on the island, including access to book tours or rent scooters etc. Highly recommend, and I would go back :)

Sometimes spotty WiFi in my room, but this was not a major issue for me.

Beautiful hostel

Beautiful property hidden from the main road with lots of plants. Everything is rustic but very clean with a nice aesthetic. The hammock room is lovely for relaxing. The owners are very nice and the breakfast was great.

The dogs were quite loud one night, but this is not the hostel’s fault

I loved the hostel and the location surrounded by so many plants. super sweet chillout area with hammocks and spacious kitchen outside. big shower and also slept very well there.
