Wonderful and incredibly charming owners, who welcome you like a real family! The food was delicious and the trekking was well organized and adventurous!

The host, and vibe and generally everything. The home cooked breakfast and dinner were reasonable good. Went for a day trip trekking in the forest for US$35. It includes about 1 hour tuk tuk ride, followed by about 30min long tail boat ride before you reach the trekking starting point. Trekking is though padi field, forest, cross stream knee deep and hence be prepared to be wet and muddy from knee down.
Will be good if there is aircon.....lol

The essence of Cambodia is not in their brutal history, not in their financial misfortune—it is in their people.
The host family are tender-hearted. Their children are full of life, the students they host English classes for are full curiosity, and the owners are full of selfless love.
I urge you to stay here, share in their beautiful way of life, and discover Cambodia’s benevolent spirit.

Super friendly family, excellent food shared with the family, super cheap accommodation.
After 7 months travelling, this is the first time a guesthouse is really a guesthouse.
Basic accommodation (but was ok for us)

Great experience. The family is lovely and amazing.
Vuthy and Ney are doing great for the village and for sharing their way of living to the tourists.
The food was so good and it was nice to participate the English lesson and cooking.
The bungalow is a bit small and not so confortable but it's nothing according to the price.
I highly recommend it.

This place was the highlight of my holiday! What an incredible family the hosts are. They make you feel at home frome the first minute to the last. The food served here is amazing. Family mealtimes are really good and help you get to know all the other guests. The host also teaches the local kids English lessons and welcomes any help. I also booked my jungle trek here and it was such a fantastic trek with very good guides who know everything about the jungle and they can cook delicious food on a basic wood fire! I feel I have made friends for life here and I will definitely return!
There's absolutely nothing to dislike here!

Vuthy and Nae are amazing hosts, great homecooked food and the ambience is homely. I loved my stay here and would love to come back for one week jungle trekking.

The most wonderful owners, so welcoming and helpful. Guests invited to family dinners every night and to help with English school. One of the best places I’ve stayed!
A bit loud with roosters early in the morning, but that’s par for the course in this area. A bit far out of town so you need transport or to be willing to walk for a bit to get anywhere

The owners are very nice people who make you feel so welcomed and appreciated. Ne goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are always met. I’m my case, she prepared separate meals for me as I have some dietary restrictions. In this homestay you will have the opportunity to learn from a Cambodian lifestyle away from civilization and Vuthy will also share a lot of Cambodia history and traditions. There’s 1 waterfall 40 mins walking and another one 1.5 hrs walking. However, the owners can arrange tuktuks for you to travel around all day at very good prices. I also did a 2 days and 1 night jungle trek which was phenomenal.
There some family friends who would come around to drink and that made me uncomfortable. Maybe other people are totally fine with it. In my case I personally have an issue with being around alcohol.

The endless smile of Neii (the owner).
The foods cooked by Neii.
Afternoon English classes for children organised by Neii in the house for free.
My private tour to a traditional village.
Nothing, I liked every thing.
My suggestion is to have sleeping bag or bed sheets if you are going to use the dorm.

Very homely homestay that doubles as a free English school for the local children, after lessons they will cook you a family dinner - and were accommodating to me as a vegan, then we spent the night playing games and sharing magic tricks with the homestay host. Very fun experience and great value for money

Vuthy was an amazing host and made me feel very at home. I was able to socialise and sing karaoke with his friends, eat dinner with his family and live the true Cambodian experience. He took us on a two day jungle trek where we learnt all about the jungle, medicinal herbs, survival and slept under the stars.
He also has a little free English school he runs for local children which was both great fun and absolutely adorable. If I ever return to Cambodia I'll definitely be staying here.
Cold showers but you can't expect luxury in the middle of nowhere!

The place was extremely authentically, everything is built with wood, made by the owner. You can eat khymer food with the family. As well I have booked my jungle trip there and the owner of the homestay came by himself.
it was just perfect

Ney and Vuthy are the best hosts ever ! We felt home the second we arrived at their homestay. We learned about khmer culture, language and food more in 3 days than during our entire trip. There is always something to do at the homestay or around. I love that there are always kids playing around, the atmosphere is so amazing. Thank you again for everything you shared with us, we can’t wait to come back.

Ne, Vuthy and their 3 amazing kids were so welcoming. I went their with my 6 year old daughter for two nights and extended for a while week! We didn't want to leave. Amazing value for money and the family are so helpful, we didn't get to do the jungle trip but visited all of the waterfalls and elephants nearby and even took their 3 children with us. At the end they felt like family, we ate many delicious meals, celebrated Christmas together and still keep in touch! We will for sure be back! Thanks so much Vuthy and Ne, for the experience of a lifetime!

This homestay is a real homestay!
We spent time with this lovely family, we ate with them, they share their life and we learnt about the country and the Ratanakiri area.
We also saw a teaching english class ! Because Ney gives free courses to the children around.
They propose treks, motocycle rides ... In short, they can adjust to your wishes!
We did the 2 days trek with Vuthy's friend and it was great (we slept in the jungle, next to the waterfall, we saw minority village)
If you go to this place, I'm sure you will stay longer than you had planned ;)
It miss just a place to dry clothes if it rains.

An amazing experience with Ney, Vuthy and their family. If you are going to Ratanakiri to live a genuine local experience, this is for sure the place where you need to go. Ney was so welcoming and helped us to feel like home. We did a trek with Vuthy and it was an incredible experience, definitely recommend. Accomodation is basic but the place is magical, especially thanks to the family who make it so special
thank you so much !
