Very nice host. With a good food and view on Kilimanjaro.

Teule Guest House is a very clean and comfortable place. The beds are big and comfy, an the common spaces are very cozy.
Plus, you can see the Kilimanjaro from outside your window so perfect spot.
The food at the Guest House is super affordable, abundant and tasty (we tried breakfast included with the hotel fee and we paid apart for dinner). You can get very fulfilled meal for less than 3 dollars.
The bathroom was super clean and you have everything you need on it: hot shower, nice and big towels, toilet paper, soap and air freshener.
But the best part is Esther: she's the most lovely woman we met so far here in Kenya. She cooked very well and feels like a friend from the beggining.
She takes care of everything and was always checking on us to make us feel comfortable.
Without any doubts, Teule Guest House is an awesome place to stay to see the kilimanjaro, experience village life in Kenya, and meet very nice people.
There's nothing we didn't like.

If You want to immerse yourself in a real Kenyan community, this is the place. The masterroom with private bathroom is clean and comfortable. From the bedroom window, guests can admire the Kilimanjaro up close and personal, right in front of the property! The communal kitchen is fully equipped and meals can be prepared by the staff on demand. Everybody is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a very relaxed and peaceful stay. Thanks to everybody for make us feel welcome like old friends.

Cosy common area and nice bedrooms. Breakfast and dinner was freshly prepared and very yummy.
Food view of Kilimanjaro, especially in the morning.
WiFi didn't work at all times and considering it is a accomodation near amboseli National Park the staff knew surprisingly little about the possible ways to explore the national park(how to get there, game drives etc.).

Quiet environment
Nothing in particular

Clean small guesthouse with ample parking just outside of town; coming from Amboseli or Tsavo West NP it's a right turn just before the police checkpoint (don't trust the booking.com map location.) Friendly caretaker lady also cooks tasty food. Fair Wifi.
Detached single bathroom, may require timing co-ordination with other guests. Map location at booking.com unusable.

Right next to the road. Easily accessible. Beautiful view of the mountain.
The shared bathroom and toilet are joined together so little privacy.

I loved the fact that every penny they make goes to help disadvantaged children, who you can meet while there if you want. You don’t need to, your privacy is totally respected and assured, and it’s not like a lot of places in Kenya that try and put a guilt trip on you to give, that sort of behaviour is totally forbidden. However, if you want to be blessed, go ahead, they want nothing from you but they give you all they have. The view of Kilimanjaro is breathtaking.
There was nothing not to like.
