The breakfast was was great and the variation was excellent.
In the bedroom (twin ) there could have been another stool rather than one having to sit on the bed.

Bert good central position in town
Room was a bit basic and as it was on the main road side we were woken up by fairly heavy traffic passing from 6.30 am

Fantastic breakfast with good ingredients
Unfortunately the room let the experience down. Bad toilet seat completely the wrong size and moved around when sitting on it. Exposed plasterboard and screw points sticking out of walls. Heavy stain on bedroom ceiling where water had got in. Some md in corner. Such a shame as staff were really helpful. I expected better quality room fir £96

Nice sized room
Breakfast was good
Staff obliging and friendly
Stairs were unsuitable for disabled visitors - it needed an extra banister or rail on all stairs as a minimum.
We'd asked for a parking space, but car park was full on arrival and we struggled to squeeze in against a wall and a border. The car park did not have marked spaces leading to a lot of wasted space and no sign of any dedicated disabled spaces.
Live entertainment on arrival was loud, but acceptable for a Saturday night.

Staff were amazing. Very helpful in every way. Food was lovely and service great.
Rooms a bit dated, and needed some attention. We were worried, as the shower floor was moving, and felt like we were going to fall through. Beds clean though. I asked for a sheet, as very hot night. It was brought straight away.

Close to the wedding we were going to
Run down. Lack of maintenance- broken hooks, etc

Really helpful hosts. Would have allowed for early check in (had we not been delayed on the way down!) And we're really helpful providing local information before our stay.

The lady in charge, Jan, was lovely. Offered me a packed lunch instead of breakfast which I don't eat.
It was rather noisy from the traffic. There is secondary double glazing but it was so hot that I wanted the window open.

Near to the port
It needed a refurb but was okay and clean

Staff are very friendly. My dinner and breakfast were exceptionally good, much better than the average pub fare.
My room was dreary, mattress old and uncomfortable. But for the low price, this is not unusual or surprising.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for where we needed to go. Plenty of options at breakfast and plenty of parking available.
I think the hotel was a bit overpriced for the facilities that are offered, rooms are basic and a bit dated and bathroom facilities were average.

Nice large room with double bed, desk, mirror, drawers and an ensuite bathroom. There is a railing to hang clothes. Very clean. Food very nice too.

Staff were outstanding and facilities were very clean. Cant fault it
Deco was a little outdated

The food was very good and a highlight of our stay. We had 2 evening meals both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were friendly and helpful. One of the cleaners, offered to help with taking a large suitcase down the stairs...no lift.
The building is very old and in need of some refurbishment. The ceiling in the bathroom , above the shower needs sorting. It's generally showing a lot of wear and tare. However, I think the price generally reflects the standard of decor.

The staff were amazingly helpful
I arrived with a walking injury and they could not do enough to help, even offering to go to pharmacy for me

The mattress very hard and uncomfortable. sorry guys!

The large area with sofas in the large bar/ dining area meant the 7 of us could relax and eat snacks together on our own. The staff were helpful with our queries and with an issue with one of the toilet cistern flushes. There is ample free parking behind the pub, but the hotel part had its own separate entrance - we saw a note telling a late arriver how to get their room key. the local high street with a range of eateries - including a very popular fish & chips place (we didn't have the chance to try it as we had small kids with us and pub offered decent bar snacks etc. incl. Amazing onion rings in batter - best I've ever eaten.
Nothing really

location to town, parking, breakfast, staff
Room was a little chilly could not seem to get radiator to work however it is a small room so probably not an issue in warmer weather.
