A peaceful haven in the countryside with everything you could need

Spotlessly clean and spacious apartment with a wonderful garden area including a covered gazebo in case of bad weather. Richard, the host, could not have been more helpful, warm and welcoming

Really good experience

The Apartment was very comfy and clean. we stayed 3 days as a group of 4. The garden is huge and comfortable, we had a great barbecue there. Also the Host takes care of everything you need. Richard also provided us with detailed insights about a walking trail through nearby dartmoor. There you can enjoy a beautiful view and landscape. We would come back.

A friendly warm welcome and a great sense of a home away from home.

To sum up this was a “Home from Home’ and the owners were some of nicest people we had ever met. We had to attend my brothers funeral in Ivybridge, so was a stay for a sad event but this accommodation couldn’t of been more perfect for our family and needs. There was a wonderful outdoor space with gardens for our family to sit outside privately and relax. The owners were so warm and caring and couldn’t do enough for us . They were so considerate to our family and nothing was too much trouble. We were provided with everything we could need as well as a lovely selection of breakfast items . If you are looking for a welcoming place to stay you won’t go wrong by choosing here -enjoy .

We can honestly say there wasn’t a thing we didn’t like about this property.

Absolutely fantastic and will definitely be booking again.

Fantastic place to stay with brilliant outside space which my children loved, there was also a swing ball set setup for them to play with. The choice of food for the continental breakfast was plentiful and we were asked a few days before hand which milk and bread we would like. The hosts are very friendly and helpful with recommendations for walking routes etc.

The house is very old, and it s a very quiet place. The host is really nice, he has a thorough knowledge of not only the moor but also the beaches around.

The stay was lovely and very active, driving around the coast in Devon and Cornwall that is not far from Ivybridge.

Very nice stay in House very clean and comfortable.

Cottage was very nice and we found not issues with that.

Gorgeous country cottage

Absolutely beautuful setting in a gorgeous country cottage. A warm welcome from Richard & Aisling, everything we needed was provided. The beds are SUPER comfy! We will be back - thank you.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Wonderful garden area and gazebo. Very comfortable beds Parking right outside the annex. Turn in off the road is snug but just takes a bit of getting used to (I was driving a large estate car).

Well worth a return visit.

Continental breakfast was good. Host was excellent and friendly. Property was most interesting. By the way, I would suggest a rating of 8.50, not 7.00 as shown.

Unfortunately, the noise from the road was annoying but one cannot blame the host for that !!!! However, you are not aware of the road when inside the house with the windows closed.

Perfect place to relax in nature

The property is beautiful and quiet. There is a huge garden where the children can play, where you can relax and have a barbecue. There are chickens in the garden as well and various ball games for the kids. the place is perfect for relaxing. The house itself is lovely. It is very old and has got this perfect South England charm.

A perfect getaway for couples and dog owners

The location being only a few minutes away from Ivybridge down a typical rural Devon lane would be perfect for a getaway for couples as well as like myself a getaway with my wife and dog . The continental breakfast was plentiful and my wife is lactose intolerant so Richard had left lactofree milk , vegan croissants and lacto free yoghurts which was really appreciated , the property was comfortable and warm , the garden was a real bonus it was fantastic for our puppy to burn of some energy . The bathroom was well appointed with a huge shower , both Richard and Aisling were wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble

Fabulous Devon Getaway

The location is beautiful & Richard was welcoming, helpful & an all round top person! House was lovely, we'll set out, perfect for our needs

There wasn't anything we didn't like! If we had a longer stay we would require cooking facilities, but there are plenty of lovely pubs nearby to eat
