Good business hotel

Very comfortable bed; good shower; very attentive and friendly staff

In the rooms there is a sort of deep hum (not the airco, nor fridge - switched these off). the airco is very noisy :-(

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the close proximity to fine dining

Friendly and decent, rooms leave a bit to be desired in spots.

Nice enough location, free breakfast staff was really friendly and helpful

Room in somewhat rough shape, stains on carpet, gouge in walls, showing some age despite the rest of the facility looking fairly new. Room was LOUD, between constant exhaust fan and an incredibly loud heating system. That’s before I go in to the event room pouring outside after an event and no one seeming to attempt to quiet the guests. Lamp was blocking a portion of the television and couldn’t be moved. Remote had a big ole smear of something gross upon arrival and things had clearly been left by other guest that weren’t removed.

Missing information

I was there for a high school reunion. But I actually didn't get to stay there. Because I work in 2 restaurants, most of payments are in cash, but I wasn't allowed to split tender to pay for my room. So I had to find other accommodations

Nowhere did I see that payment had to be all on my card. If I had seen that I could have gone to the bank before I drove 3 hrs to go to check in for my event.

Nice hotel, clean and bright. Staff were very nice and helpful, room was good and nice and clean. Handy for a couple of nearby restaurants Breakfast was just ok, nothing too special.

The location is right on the Riverfront. We were able to walk to nearby locations. Very well kept hotel.

It was freezing in the hotel, but that's not really a bad thing. Bring a sweater or a jacket.

Really good safe hotel in great location.

Very good breakfast, i never ate in the bar at night so I can't comment on the food but during the 7 nights I was there I didn't see anyone eating there. That might have something to do with the huge portions you get for lunch. Some nice places to eat all within 5 minutes walk of the hotel and there is a lovely riverside walk at the back of the hotel. Across the road is a baseball stadium and an Imax cinema. I was there for my sons graduation in Newark so didn't spend a lot of time in Wilmington but what I saw of it it looked nice and was only a 35 minute ride from Philly airport.

I was on the 2nd floor had zero views (looked at a wall for 7 nights) so try and get a bit higher up if you can. The waitress at breakfast was a bit too keen, I put my glass of juice down and went for food, came back and she'd cleared it up.

I booked my parents for a staycation and they didn’t mention anything negative about Hyatt Place.

As per my parents feedback, breakfast was great. I’d also like to say my interaction with the staff (Louis Nock)through email was a true definition of what customer service should be. I’d definitely stay here when I visit Wilmington.

This was my first time having windows with the black out screen I was looking for the curtains Plus the remote button for the shade did not work, but I made the best of it, once I was assured people could not see I'm the window.I was to tired to change rooms.It was room 218 fix the remote for the shade.

The pillows were uncomfortable, there was hair all over the bathroom. It was pricey for those accommodations.
