The terrace was the highlight. it is a walking distance from the accommodation but well worth it every night and morning . the jacuzzi is clean and needed in hot days
the landlord was super helpful and nice.
the town is very historic and small. a place to rejuvenate and regroup.
Bed was very hard. need to change the mattress. slept on the sofa bed because it is a bit more cushiony. lots of mosquitos. the landlord could put some mosquito repellent in the room.

We liked Vertine; it is a tiny village with only one bar and no other commercial properties, but we knew Vertine before we booked. The little apartment was nice and having a washing machine was appreciated. The kitchen had ample cookware and dinnerware.
Cell phone service and internet access is "available in the common area." The common area is the terrace pictured on Booking.com; there is no terrace and no view from the apartment. The common area, several houses away, is common because it is shared by two other apartments and its access to the internet is not good. For two days after we checked in, we attempted to call the owner with questions, but the phone was always turned off or out of range, so we finally left a note. We would stay there again if the owner would solve the phone/internet problems. This is possible because the bar, which is about 30 feet from the apartment has good internet access; we formerly owned a property nearby and added repeaters to get the internet signal from our office through dense stone walls to our house. There are no English-language television channels, which might be disappointing to people who cannot use their phones or the internet to get news of the world in English.
