Notre séjour à Marsascala

L'appartement est très spacieux, propre et très calme. Les propriétaires sont charmants et restent disponibles tout au long de votre sejour. Un havre de paix tout en étant comme à la maison 😎

Les prises à l'anglaise pour lesquelles les français devront prévoir les adaptateurs.

This place is amazing- a peaceful location (though got a bit busy during the day due to local construction works nearby), yet just stone throw from all local pubs, caffees and restaurants located next to the bay (Il-Bajja ta 'Marsaskala) where you can try local cuisine or go for pizza/burger/fish&chips or pasta. Convenience shops are also around 5 minutes walk. Perfect stay for families of 4 (+1 toddler).

The apartment is amazing and looks much better than the photos. The hosts were also amazing and very hospitable. Thank you for such a nice experience.

Superb

The apartment is well located in Marsaskala, a few minutes walking from the bay. The apartment is spacious and clean. Good place to spend a few days near the coast.

It was spacious, clean and the facilities were good.

Parking was difficult. Sometimes we had to park quite a distance from the apartment.

Look no further for home from home

Absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to go back to Malta and wouldn't even consider looking elsewhere for somewhere to stay. The April maisonette is honestly perfect, and the hosts are truly amazing. I feel like I have new family in Malta, and I can't wait to go back.

There are around 10 stairs leading to the front door, so not suitable for wheelchair users. Parking a car overnight may require a very short walk, but usually you can park right outside the front door.

Perfect flat for long staying for a 4-members-familly:)

This flat is fully equipped, perfect to stay longer for 4 people. Beautiful neighborhood, nice and friendly hosts. We come back here for sure:)

Difficult to find a free parking slot, but it meant for the whole city/island.

Big apartment (about 100-120 m2), 2 bedroom 3x air condition full kitchen + washing machine clean apartment By our opinion the best beach nearby - St Thomas Bay

Not very good location: 7 min to centrum, 20-25 min to the beach (1.8 km, not 1.2 km) street parking: evening very difficult to find parking space

A lovely apartment, close to all the key amenities you need for a fun family holiday

The apartment is lovely; very spacious, clean, excellently furnished and maintained with a great range of amenities, including a cot and high chair, alongside a washing machine and excellent hanging space to dry clothes - ideal for a family holiday. We arrived at 1am but were easily able to claim our key from a safety deposit box; there's also a spare key within the apartment if you need to go out in smaller groups. The apartment is close to several convenience stores which sell pretty much everything you'd need for a holiday at fair prices, while there is also a good selection of restaurants and bars down by the harbour. We really liked the Sant'Antnin Family Park, just a short walk from the apartment, which has several children's play areas, a small football pitch, an animal park and clean toilets - and it's all free. The airport is less than 15 minutes' drive away and most of the island's key tourist sites are within half an hour's drive at non rush hour times (Valetta, Sliema, Mdina, Ta'Qali National Stadium) and even the port to catch the Gozo ferry is less than an hour away, despite being at the opposite end of the island. Stephen helpfully advised us not to try and travel there at weekends in order to avoid the traffic and we had a very enjoyable and straightforward drive there on a weekday instead.

We had no problems at all with the accommodation. It's just worth noting that the steep gradients of the estate where the property is located (along with the general condition of the pavements/roads, coupled with the need to get up steps to access the apartment) may make it difficult for wheelchair users or anyone who is generally infirm, but we found it OK with a buggy for our five-month-old baby. All the street parking is free, but you have to be patient at times to find a space; you can usually get a space near the apartment during the working day when people are out, but you have to be prepared to park a couple of streets away if you return home in the evening and it's busy. The hosts helpfully let you block their garage by arrangement if you need to, which is good of them.
