Mooie ruime kamer, goede bedden.. Prima ontbijt. Veel informatie gehad betreffende de bezienswaardigheden. En een top tour met de jeep gehad. Heel interessant!

The D day theme and knowledge of the hosts were excellent. They provided an itinerary of where to go and you even had the option to be driven in an original Willys Jeep.
The breakfast was delicious and was set out really well. If returning to the area I would definitely return!

Bellissima casa accogliente in un contesto di campagna curato e piacevole.
Poi gli oggetti della collezione visibili ovunque sono di qualità, e di grande interesse.
Assolutamente nulla.

Fabulous overnight stay, mini museum with extremely knowledgeable hosts.

Prettige ontvangst. Midden in de highlights van D-Day

De aankleding van het gehele B&B,
is ook een klein museum.
Prima ontbijt, goed parkeren.
Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, fijn dat ze Nederlands spreken.
Niets, het enige minpuntje (voor mij) was de gladde douchevloer omdat ik enigszins inmobiel ben. Mijn vrouw had daar helemaal geen last van.
Prima mooie badkamer .

It was an amazing experience to stay at Domaine Airborne - even it was just one night.
It's a place with a lot of historical stuff, very friendly owners, a special old-designed but modern room and a great breakfast.
Thanks for bringing us back 80 years ago!

Great location, for visiting many of the museums and landmarks from ww2. Hosts are very friendly and had some interesting historical artifacts to look at.Breakfast is very good .

Absolutely gorgeous farmhouse decorated to top historical standards. The owners are really going out of their way to inform and guide you about the area

Perfect breakfast
Extra comfortable bed, big and beautiful room
Amazing "WWII" atmosphere - artifacts everywhere, tastefully placed
Perfect spot to choose when you plan to immerse yourself in the WWII atmosphere and go see the battlefield sights - near Utah Beach, not far from Omaha Beach and the rest of important sights

Our family of 4 from California stayed in a double room. Amazingly comfortable. Great shower. Comfy beds. Views of the grounds are astounding. The history surrounding the establishment is incredible. A short walk away is a spectacular church with story upon story.
We also took a tour from Charles. None of us will soon forget it. His knowledge and care of seeing what we wanted to see and understand reflects the caring nature of the staff of Domaine Airborne.
Breakfasts were amazing. Absolutely perfect. Amazing Bread. Fresh fruit and some of the best juice you’ll ever taste.
What I did not like is that we did not rent a car. Super manageable driving. There are so many villages and towns surrounding the area that it would benefit you to have your own transportation. We took the train from Paris and then took a taxi. Next time, rent a car in Paris or somewhere between Paris and Carentan and choose your own adventure.
It’s impossible to find something wrong with a property that the lovely owners take so much pride in.

Setting, style, attention to detail, history, host knowledge and hospitality, great breakfast, beautiful old buildings updated with charm and some fun. Immerse yourself in the era, like staying in history, (but with all modern conveniences tastefully incorporated

What’s not to love?
A beautiful French domaine/farmhouse that is transformed into a perfect d-day experience with all modern amenities that you would expect for a couple days away from home, dipped in WW2 with style. Clean rooms, good breakfast and right next to Carentan and motorway (easy access to all the spots). The Dutch owners are very hospitable and can tell you all the stories what happened in many smaller places (and to visit them of course) that were so crucial in the battle that you otherwise would miss between the bigger hotspots and musea.
Highly recommended!
Absolutely nothing.

This beautifully set-up recreation of aWW2 Normandy farm house is a stunning place to stay. Close to the American D-Day beaches and numerous airborne drop zones it is the perfect spot for historical touring. The owner Charles is a wonderful host, even transporting my son and I to a local restaurant and the train station . The museum outside Carentan was a brilliant bonus visit but Charles’ wonderful hotel with its authentic atmosphere, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast was the highlight of our brief visit!

Host was unbelievably friendly, knowledgeable and informative about the regional history which was the purpose of our visit. Can’t rate the experience and hospitality high enough. We are definitely coming back.

This is simply a fantastic place to stay if you're at all interested in history in Normandy. Great location for any and all of the D-Day landings and subsequent liberation sites. Spacious accommodations with well appointed bathrooms. Lovely breakfast. Collection of artifacts as good as any museum. And being out in the French countryside just perfect-- quiet, relaxing and felt like all to ourselves.
Hosts were fantastic and specifically helped me track the movements of a relative involved in the landings.
Really can't overstate how fabulous our 3 days here were. If/when I get to go back to Normandy I will stay nowhere else.

Good location to visit Normandy D Day beaches
Thought I was staying in the house as advertised but this was closed due to quiet season. Fire alarm in the unit I was staying in went off a number of times during the night resulting in little rest.
4.8
Good location, owners pleasant and polite
There should have been a lounge area available (it wasnt due to refurbishment of the main house and the owners using what would normally be available to guests). The rooms were fine, but the stairs steep and nowhere to relax in the evening. With some thought the apartments could have a small lounge and the 'kitchen' (for which extra is charged to use) could be removed and re thought.
Rather disappointing overall although I would recommend, but caution others before booking.
Clean, tidy and acceptable in the summer when I am sure you could use the outside facilities to best effect.
Breakfast was fine, but there was less on offer on day 2 of our stay - an option of a cooked breakfast would work wonders!

great history in the property and well kept. great breakfast!!

it was a very nostalgic property which fits the Normandy history. The breakfast was amazing. The host and hostess were wonderful and knowledgeable of the area and the history.
There was nothing we did not like about the property

This is an extraordinary facility that makes you feel to be part of the historical events that characterized this area. An absolute must see. We like the building, the arrangements of the rooms and the atmosphere inside and outside.
The competence and the hospitality of the hosting staff. They gave us a lot of very useful tips that make our touring very comfortable. The cleanliness of the rooms was very good and the quietness and solemnity of the place.
