The hotel itself was nice and clean. The beds were comfy and all rooms had a great view of the ocean. We highly recommend to opt for a room with balcony to enjoy the view properly.
The room we booked was without balcony, but when we got into the room we immediately decided to upgrade as the windows were so dirty and the porch roof of the rooms below were full of bird waste. Just not great to look at.
The staff was friendly but we didn‘t get lot of information, like where we would find the breakfast area, or how the credit (for orders throughout your stay) works. Another day we ask multiple times for umbrellas but they refused to bring them out due to the wind. Which was weird to us, as they had them out days before when the wind was way stonger.
The airline lost our luggage, and we let the front desk know that it will be delivered the next day. We had to ask several times for a toiletry kit to be brought to our room (or just handing us at the front desk). At a hotel of this kind you would expect a more accommodating staff, but maybe it was due to the fact we didn‘t book all inclusive.
Another huge issue were the birds during breakfast. Only a few waiter took action in chasing birds away or cover left overs with napkins. But most of the staff seem to not care or maybe they just have up. However do not leave your plates unattended.

breakfast top notch. room and bed super comfy and nice. view outstanding. area pretty good, beach small but snorkeling good. THE SERVICE TEAM STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING! we will miss them
communication with staff was difficult. Many things required extra effort such as getting our luggage to our room and having other things sent up, and figuring out what is available for room service. No communication was given in regards to vendors and guests showing up/performing.

Way over priced

Great clean hotel, good food, service and room and amazing views. Roof top pool was my favorite. Room was great with jacuzzi on terrace.
10.0
Excellent amenities. Room breakfast service was great and delicious. Very friendly to set on vacation mode!
There are scarce cash machines there, but I noticed new ones will be on service soon.
9.0
Beach, location, modern construction
Service was not responsive.
Fans in the room had no slower speed selection.
TV remote control not working properly.
Food menus were limited and expensive
8.0
The room was spacious and bed comfortable. Large bathroom.
Food and drinks were typical hotel fare and just average.

The views are beautiful
The customer friendliness was so-so and everything in the hotel premises is overpriced

comfortable and staff was really friendly. very clear expectations

Beautiful view of beach from the room.
The pool was warm, not cool enough to be refreshing. Could use a few more umbrellas on the beach and at the pool.

Great pictures and good marketing make the property seem like it’s a luxury resort.. it’s not. It’s over priced, old and disorganized.
The property was not what was advertised.

very nice
not enough umbrellas to hide from the sun. you need more shadow in the pool and beach areas.

The staff were nice
Juan and meguel- (victor) at the Las gravitas restaurant
We're extremely helpful and great customer service !
Didn't like the condition of the balcony in our room..never swept , bird crap on the window was never cleaned. Never cleaned the hot tub .mantince of the building it self . Poor..
Ordered room service..had to call back twice.. to get it ..took 1:45 minutes to get .. and didn't appreciate being basically being kicked off the beach and not able to go to the sun lounge that night. That I paid for, for some event

This hotel is located right on the beach, and it really is a lovely hotel. The all-inclusive food and drinks were great, and the hotel is decently located is not too far from downtown.
We paid for all-inclusive, but every time you ordered something, the waiters expected a 15 - 20% tip. That is not all-inclusive and makes the whole experience uncomfortable. Additionally, we don't travel with a credit card. We travel with debit cards, so the hotel couldn't take a deposit which we found out later was for tips. On the last day, the staff realized we didn't have a credit card behind the reception, so we couldn't tip them unless we gave them cash. This made the whole experience even more uncomfortable.
Furthermore, when we checked out, the hotel told us they had made a mistake and didn't charge us the full amount when we checked in. Then when we tried to pay, their card machine didn't work, and neither did their cash point even after trying multiple cards from multiple banks. This turned into a hugely stressful situation which they honestly did not deal with very well. In the end, I had to walk down the road to find a cash point that actually worked.
That really is no way to treat people who pay this amount to stay at your hotel—completely ruined the whole experience.

I liked that there was an all inclusive option, but ..
It seemed as though they looked down upon people who were all inclusive vs people who weren’t. The staff wasn’t very friendly. The resort was very small
and beach was overcrowded most of the stay. The rooms were filthy and I had a very icky sticky feeling each morning I woke up. If you are a germ person like I am, I would not recommend. There weren’t many options to eat and I found myself eating the same things. We went to a restaurant down the street which was amazing but again, we had to leave the resort for that.

Location. Room was good.
It was rather mediocre in food dept. I would expect more choices and better quality for cost

location and amazing sea view
no laundry facilities
no dry cleaning facilities
? last year this service was stopped due to covid, but not re instated yet , but hotel running as a covid free environment. so why no laundry services???
no hot water
no toilet flushing
towels not replaced daily/regular
Luke warm/ cold room service food
broken lift ( only 2 lifts in a full 15 floor hotel )
noisy loud music from the courtyard stalls selling local wares

Clean, quiet and a beautiful view. Staff was very professional and excellent.
All water came in small plastic bottles-- so much plastic used at this resort. I had a reusable water bottle but nowhere to fill it.

The beach and the breakfast were great but that's it!
Bed bugs alert!!!
We suffered from them very much, despite they change the sheets to new ones.
The hotel bar staff were kind of rude, made it hard on us in every request we made.
The hotel is in bad location away from the city, taxi is 8 dollar though, so it's kind of O.K

The hotel was very nice with amazing views. It was well kept and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Especially the Gaviotas restaurant staff (Vicky, Javier and Victor) made our stay even more enjoyable! I would definitely recommend.
