Cute apartment in an amazing central location

The apartment is very nice, well-decorated and equipped. The bed was comfortable, bathroom nice and clean, kitchen small but enough. The location is excellent and hard to beat.

It gets really hot inside the apartment and you can't open the windows, really, because they lead onto a common outdoor hallway (and I don't feel safe sleeping like this). Even though there is a fan I was really hot during the night and couldn't sleep. Otherwise oil was missing from the kitchen despite empty containers being available.

Exceptional

Excellent location and facilities. Very safe, clean and well equipped apartment at the heart of Marseille’s old port. Steve was very friendly and easy to deal with.Would recommend to anyone!

it’s a really nice small studio with all what you need, also it’s totally close to the port a lot of bars and restaurant

Very good

Great location in the center of everything. Had many amenities. Clean. The front door opens to an outside corridor which was nice.

It is essential to follow the directions to get in provided by the host. It is a bit of a maze but it worked out.

AMAZING LOCATION in Marseille

FABULOUS LOCATION! Couldn't have asked for a better neighborhood/location. Right behind the Old Port (Vieux Port), located on lovely Charles de Gaulle Square. Super close to metro station and other public transit, lots of restaurants, and a supermarket in the building next door. Apartment itself was pretty good for the most part. Spacious for one person, bed was comfortable enough. Lots of amenities: small but full kitchen with all the things you'd need for cooking/heating stuff up, fridge, utensils, etc; air conditioner, clothes drying rack, iron. Arrived to a nice little welcome "birthday" note, small bag of chocolates, and a bottle of shampoo and body wash from the staff. Apartment faces inner courtyard, so it's very quiet.

The apartment was quite clean for the most part, but there could have been a little more attention to it in the main room where the bed is.

Good with small works would be great

I liked the location, it was perfect, in the middle of vieux port, Monop' (supermarket) is literally next door. It is quite cosy to stay it. There is a washing machine which was quite helpful as I stayed for 2 weeks. Lovely coffee is available. Hairdryer... iron ... it is useful and you get the essentials you need for your travel. Also, the fact that you use a code to enter the at is very useful! Honestly it's amazing, as there is no hassle! You are very independent, you can come and leave whenever it is convenient, as in you don't have to stress about getting the keys from somewhere at a certain time. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, just a few things to fix and it would be great.

The appartement needs some work to be done ! Light in the bathroom is broken, I stayed twice and still was not fixed, despite pointing it out to the owner. The shower door is broken, same for both stays, didn't get fixed. The bed is quite small and not very comfortable and it makes noise every time you move a finger. The pillows are not comfortable at all. There is a fan full of dust standing right in the middle, both stays, it didn't get cleaned in between. The table that you are supposed to eat on is very small! The chairs are extremely high and not comfortable. The flat needs to be a bit cleaner as well. As I booked and stayed for 2 weeks. You get to notice all the uncomfortable stuff.

A very nice apartment that could be even better

We loved the location and the price, the studio has many things we didn’t use in just 2 nights we spent there, but I suppose it’s good they’re there. Nice that the towels, shampoo and shower gel are already there and we didn’t have to bring anything with us. Steve was very nice and sent us video instructions of how to get inside.

We paid 15 euros for cleaning (as an additional point to our 2-nights payment), which was unusual for me, because normally it goes without saying that you arrive into the clean room. So I thought that maybe there will be cleaning every night of our stay... which I didn’t want to, but I had no option to refuse the cleaning. But it turned out that the “cleaning” for additional 15 euros just means that the room will be cleaned before your arrival. However, I must say, the results of the cleaning we saw were definitely not worth additional 15 euros - we saw dust on the floor and in the corners. Also, she shower doors are still broken and I saw in the other reviews that this is already a long-standing problem. I don’t see why this can’t be fixed, shouldn’t be expensive.
