One bedroom loft with an open concept Cottage with modern amenities. Near all major attractions in the area including Acadia, Bar Harbor, Ellsworth, Lamoine State Park, Golf Course, restorants and bars. Nested near Jordan Tidal River it provides a great opportunity as gateway to all that Downeast Maine has to offer. It sit on a quiet lot surrounded by nature. It is environmentally friendly. A true retreat!!.

This cabin is perfect for 2 people who are looking for a quiet cabin with an easy drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Ellsworth, etc. It is clean, accommodating, and super cute! We would definitely stay there again.

Deer visited us every morning. Easy drive to Lamoine State Park and beach. Convenient to Bar Harbor. The cottage was beautiful and perfect for relaxing on the deck, watching the sunset. We hope to be back!

Very quiet and enjoyable. Watched turkey, deer, and firefly’s from the deck. Far away from everything and close enough at the same time. Acadia was a very easy drive to from the cabin.

This home was perfect. Had everything needed for a nice getaway with my wife for our anniversary. The owner was awesome and communicated well with great instructions on everything set needed. If you have an opportunity to stay here, you won't regret it!

Very clean and cute place; well stocked and comfortable. Private but not isolated; a quick 30 min drive to Bar Harbor. Only cons is the couch is not very comfortable. You sink into it quite a bit and half to pull yourself out. The bed and bath are on separate floors so if you frequent the bathroom through the night it might not be the place for you. Overall we enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.

We are from a rural area in South Carolina so this home located in this semi rural area was perfect for this part of our Maine adventure! We were able to get to several areas to hike and witness the true beauty of New England Fall foliage. The highlight of our entire trip was Cadillac Mtn. and gracious what a sight to see! My wife and I still can't believe what we witnessed from the summit. I would highly recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to Maine!

We loved this quaint cottage. It had all the amenities and was perfect for our girls trip. Luis was attentive to our needs and very responsive. It was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was also close to Ellsworth for food and other shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at this cozy rental. All amenities were provided and the atmosphere was beyond relaxing! The owner really thought of everything you would ever need. This is by far our favorite rental using Vrbo. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Anniversary getaway
Beautiful, serene landscape in a cozy cabin perfect for 2! Lots of wildlife seen and path to river nice little escape. Close to Acadia National park but also a wonderful visit to Historic Castine with gorgeous views, a quaint little museum and good eats.

Perfect honeymoon destination
The cabin is cozy for a couple. New kitchen amenities and a wonderfully powerful jacuzzi bathtub. Deer frequent the area and the lush scenery is breathtaking. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia with plenty to do and see in between.

Perfect Restorative Retreat
All around excellent experience. The cabin is even cozier than pictured. We spent a week here, while hiking Acadia everyday, and it was a true pleasure to return to the cabin each night to recover, watch TV, order in a pizza, relax around a fire, or watch the ocean tide down on the pier. Cabin had every necessity, and the host was attentive to any need or general question.

Serene
The home was perfectly relaxing. No neighbors' homes were visible from the back yard unless you looked for them. Deer came by the house almost every night while we sat at the fire. The fire pit was epic to have fresh oysters and wine at under the starry sky. The kitchen was very roomy and had modern appliances but a few more cooking utensils would have been nice. It still managed to make some stellar meals with fresh fish from Parsons. The laundry machines are modern and worked well. The upstairs loft gets very hot but if you crack the skylight a bit it makes it comfortable. If you are a little more elderly or rickety when you wake up in the morning, be warned there is a spiral staircase from the loft down to the living area/bathroom.
Luis was attentive to all our questions. Checkin was easy. The location is great and centralized for getting into Mount Desert Island, nearby Ellsworth for groceries, and the rest of Maine. All in all we loved the place and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Honeymoon Bliss
The place was awesome! We loved sitting outside everyday and watching the deer and turkeys. Everything was immaculate. We loved feeling like we were secluded yet as you drive up the driveway you’re right in the heart of the neighborhood! Absolutely peaceful and lovely!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. A perfect location just outside of Ellsworth, it was a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We liked the privacy and deck facing the river.

Quiet country charm
Lovely, well kept cottage in the country, half hour drive from Acadia. everything was very clean upon arrival, and we appreciated the quietness of the property. Luis was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Although we appreciated the partial view of the river and seeing three beautiful deer that regularly came to the front yard, we would have preferred that the property be properly maintained so that we could enjoy the yard. It is not mowed, so be prepared for that, and access to the river is through a partially graveled and part grass pathway. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Great Maine retreat!
The cottage was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to Maine. Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures--clean, modern, and comfortable. Very easy 1/2 hour drive to Bar Harbor. The only thing about the place I didn't expect is that it's directly in the approach of runway 22 at the Hancock County - Bar Harbor Airport, so there were occasionally some very low-flying corporate/private jets directly overhead. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be if you're looking for more of a serene stay. Overall though, the cottage offers a lot of space and amenities for a great price and I would stay here again if ever back in the area.

Wonderful Cottage
We had a wonderful experience! The view from the cottage is absolutely beautiful. Deer, birds, and rabbits came to visit at dusk and the cottage has access to the river. We walked down to see the sunset a couple nights! Inside the cottage is beautiful and clean. Luis has well prepared the cottage for guests and it is very cozy and comfortable. The cottage was in a great location for accessing Acadia. There is a park & ride lot about 10 minutes from the cottage. We parked there each day and took the Island Explorer (bus) into Acadia and Bar Harbor. This was so convenient and the cottage was close enough but tucked away. It was perfect. Communication with Luis was always prompt & helpful! If we make it up to Maine again soon we would love to stay here again!
