The views above Funchal are INCREDIBLE. You will be hard pressed to find anything better- absolutely stunning! This is a traditional Portuguese home and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our host was kind and made sure to ask if we needed anything, but wasn't constantly looking in on us- which we appreciated. The bus stop is very close (but be aware that the roads and paths near the house are walkable, but very steep). Taxis and Bolt drivers are readily available for the area and supermarkets such as Pingo Doce and Continente made deliveries to the house. We thouroughly enjoyed our two week stay!

View apartments with a large terrace and amazing sunsets every day. All windows overlooking Funchal, ocean and sunset. Very cozy, with vintage furniture and extremely clean The apartments have everything you need: a fully equipped kitchen, a large and working fireplace, excellent internet and Smart TV, grill outside, personal parking space. There is a very beautiful multi-level tropical garden on the territory of the apartments. Hostess Filomena deserves the title of "hostess of the year") She is always in touch and always ready to help. Dear Philomena, thank you for your warm welcome. The apartment had an amazing view and was very well equipped, we found everything we could possibly think of that we might need (e.g. umbrella, candles, binoculars, clothes dryer etc.), we felt at home. Very good communication with the owners.

Amazing views and beautiful house.

The pictures on booking.com don't do justice to the view. Everything was wonderful. The apartment has an amazing view over Funchal. Location is only about 10 minutes drive into center of town. Kitchen facilities very nice. Patio incredible. GPS location shows location further up the street than actual, but otherwise easy to find. Host was most friendly and helpful.

little gem

This apartment is the a little gem. It has a enough space for 2-4 people and a spacious terrace overlooking all over Funchal (the pictures in the profile are not promising to much). Here you can spend an infinite amount of time and relax. The welcoming of the host was warm. You will not miss a thing. We did not want to leave but eventually had.

nothing ... please note a rental car is recommended due to the exceptional location of the apartment (up the hill) which only enables the beautiful views (but also a bus stop is near the apartment).
