Absolutely stunning villa in a lovely Maderian village

Absolutely everything. From our late evening arrival being met by Teva, who looks after the villa, to leaving 14 days later, we could not have asked for more. The villa is immaculate and well furnished. The kitchen is huge and stocked with just about everything you could need during your stay. The terraces at the ground floor level and down at the pool level are very spacious with plenty of outside furniture and sun beds. The pool is quite large for a single villa. The whole property is very secure with access through 2 electric gates.

Great stay for families

Most everything. Owner and manager were very responsive when problems arose.

Three events occurred. We had no hot water for three days due to some issue with the solar water heater We had no water for two days due to the shared well needing to be reset A named storm, Oscar, hit and created havoc all over the island including millipedes in the swimming pool which stung our children .

Lovely stay at Loreto! Obrigado

Fantastic, beautiful property - overlooking the sea with private pool, large patio, good kitchen facility and nice lounge area. Donna & Hugh were super helpful and Teja met us on arrival and helped us with any questions throughout our stay I'm pretty sure we'll be coming back!

Very difficult to find fault - perhaps the only downside is that the property is up the hills so takes a while to get into town / across the island. But for us it was a plus - great views and exceptionally peaceful!

Large well equipped Villa on the approach to the village of Loreto- with stunning ocean view !

Affordable, large & very well equipped 3 bedroom villa with excellent ensuite to master bedroom, very spacious dining room/lounge area and excellent kitchen; located in a small gated development of similar style villas. Very large sun terrace and separate very clean swimming pool (the swimming pool is un-heated and was a little too cold for us in October - those braver than us will no doubt make greater use of the pool !) on further terrace below. The property is located on the road as it makes it way uphill to the village of Loreto which has a few shops, a bank, a small supermarket and the excellent Italian/pizza restaurant 'Naye' where we had dinner twice & would recommend (10 min walk uphill from Villa). Excellent directions to the Villa provided by the Owners; good communications throughout with both the Owners and their local property manager (Teva). The luxury element of this property, though (in our view), has to be the ocean view which is stunning and practically uninterrupted. Our over-riding memory of this Villa will be sunsets/sun rises over the ocean and star gazing when the evening sky was clear.

A property is under construction to the rear of the Villa and we did experience some noise during our stay. There were no hand towels provided in each of the bathrooms - this may have been an over-sight.

Relax and explore from beautiful villa in the hills

House was extremely spacious and we had a blast in a group of 6. Even though the pool wasn’t heated, the water was amazing - maybe due to a beautiful weather we had all stay. Views from the property are even better than at the photos. The house is placed in the closed neighboorhood so you feel secure at all time. Teva which was our host, was very responsive at any needs or requests we had - obrigado!

There is a construction site up the street and if you sleep in the twin bedroom, you’ll likely to be waken up at 8 AM. Also the Internet connection range is pretty poor and doesn’t reach the upper floor, nor the pool area.

We had a marvelous stay and the house is outstanding.

We had a marvelous stay. The house has exclent facilities, extremely clean, great location and fantastic ocean view. Very spacious with a huge outdoor terrace and great pool. Hosts and house manager were very freindly and helpful with suggestions and tips. Will certainly book agian in the future.

Spacious place with amazing views

Modern, spacious and extremely well equipped house with large outdoor area for barbecue, massive pool with lounge area and breathtaking ocean view. During the night, if sky is clear you could see milky way and, at the right time of the year, a meteor shower. You can get to Funchal in around 30-40 minutes, which feels like 15 minutes, because of scenic views from the road.

Excellent house with amazing view

Excellent house in a very good location, absolutely all needed amenities available. Even lots of pool toys were there. The view is stunning, there’s lots of room inside and on the terrace. The pool is amazing and very big - difficult to get a pool this size on Madeira. Host is very welcoming, he even organized some basics for us upon arrival so we don’t have to rush shopping. THANKS!

Cleanliness could be improved, although everything that’s a must to be clean is indeed clean. It’s more about the details - spider webs in corners of the terrace, dust in corners of the house etc

modern, well equipped, private, amazing view!

we were very happy with our stay! communication and check-in were super friendly and flexible. the accommodation is beautiful, the pool and view are spectacular, the kitchen is incredibly well equipped. lots and lots of gear for the pool and your kids is provided. the area is quiet but nice (: no neighbours. would definitely stay again!

not the absolute cleanest but we didn’t mind it too much.

Spacious accommodation with stunning views

Both the owner and manager were really helpful. Friendly local farming the land next door, popped fresh fruit over during our stay. There are plenty of ideas of things to do in the area and information in the villa. The view was absolutely stunning. Huge outdoor space, with its own pool. Spacious and well equipped accommodation. Short walk from the village which has a few good places to eat, drink and a couple of shops.

Perfect week, would love to return.

The Villa was privately located with fabulous views, it had all we needed for the perfect get away from it all week. The information supplied before we arrived and during the stay was excellent. We had a wonderful week and didn't want to leave.
