everything was fine

all on one level and comfortable

Everything we needed for a stopover en route to the West Country. Very homely, well equipped, comfy bed, large shower & parking. Leafy country lane with evening birdsong. Excellent communication with hosts and were very flexible as we arrived later than estimated.
What’s not to like.
4.7
Good & easy communication with the owners. A cute, clean & comfortable studio it had everything we needed for our stay. Short drive to the Jurassic coast.
Bigger towels would be good.

It is always lovely to arrive somewhere with milk, tea and biscuits and this did not disappoint. Added to that was a dog bed, toys, bowls and treats. The place had everything I needed for a short break. There was a heater which came in handy on the chilly evenings and it heated the whole space quickly. There was an off-road parking space for the car.
Nothing

location was perfect
way to much stuff/clutter.which stressed me out.for just 2 people there was a table for 4 which was full of placemats butter dishes. for a small contained unit and not much space for us to out our things.every bit if space was either full of things for? or cleaning products with dirty cloths have to add half a bottle of used radox hanging in the shower. yuk i did bring my own the shower of.which was awful. no power at all the taps was better to have a hand wash.spent over an hour moving and tidy up before could settle. duvet was way to small for the bed and the mattress definately needs replacing. very worn. went to pop our small case under the bed to find allsorts.its like someone lives in it and pops out for paying guests such a shame has lots if potential if was to be decluttered. its a small place for a maximum of 3 people .has enough stuff to open a shop and 33 people.even a pair of dressing gown?(we didn't use) the towels left was lets say off white and 1 each.they obviously knew the shower was no good.i like a couple of clean fluffy towels.1 towel but 100 cups and plates 🤷🏼♀️ i do have pictures but mainly videos as was so shocked . please guys have a clear out. make it minimum.

Lovely location, close to River Cottage (short taxi ride away) where we had an amazing meal.
Furniture a bit outdated and too much of it. Cladding on outside half finished.

Comfy bed, great location. Good facilities. Helpful hosts.

Didn't try breakfast as had own with me.
Sat outside in the morning sun. Small garden but adequate for my needs and
very peaceful.
Tea, Coffee, Milk, Biscuits are provided.
Very well equipped kitchenette.
Mine was a last minute 1/2hr before arriving booking. So was a quick research and therefore was very pleased as a solo female traveller to arrive and feel safe in the accommodation.
😁 - Needs smiley face option!
It suited me very well.
One large room with very large comfy bed and a single fold up bed.
Very comfy sofa to watch TV.
Shower en-suite. Very clean with towels and shower products.
Note - if arriving at night, it is a dark lane and you might be best using a more accurate app for precise location which my Sat Nav didn't give me.
I was so lucky, I phoned and John the host was my manual Sat Nav - thank you so much.
If you are looking for a modern, cold, minimalistic room - this won't suit you.
If you want clean, warm, cosy and homely - then this is for you.

Great location
We got up to watch the sunrise at the beach... came back (around 9am) and the house had already been made ready for the next guests... Was expecting check out at 10am

good size and well catered

I loved the way that although the studio flat is detached from the main building, we got our full English breakfast brought to our door - spot on the agreed time every morning.
4.7
Truly dog friendly (treats, dog basket, bowls and poop bags provided!☺️)
4.7
Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable.
Loads of extra touches such as dressing gowns and treats for the dogs that made us feel like we were really well looked after.
The bed was so comfortable I didnt want to get out of it.
The fact that we were able to take the dogs was fantastic and made a trip to visit family so much easier.
The dogs had everything they needed from a bed to special treats just for them.
I loved it and cant wait to go back.

Wry friendly host who shared local knowledge. We had our dog and she was really well catered for with dog chocolate, a bed, towel, chew toy and bowls - never had that before, it was fab!!
We got a bit hot the first night but worked out the radiator etc.. for the second

Hosts were brilliant. Lovely people and excellent communication in advance and during the stay via WhatsApp. We enjoyed the covid measures and felt like the hosts were taking health and safety really seriously.
There is a huge collection of DVDs to enjoy. We settled down to watch Zoolander one evening - hilarious!
The bed is very comfortable!
The kitchenette is small but there is everything there for simple self catering. We'd recommend booking breakfast which is brought to the room.
There is a lovely cafe just opposite the accommodation. We popped in for an icecream which was very good, but the home made cake looked amazing!
During our stay we had an evening out at River Cottage HQ which was a short taxi drive away. We also did some wonderful coastal walks from Seatown and Branscombe.
A more powerful shower and heated towel rail would have been nice. But for a short stay everything was fine!
4.7
So well equipped, even down to bathrobes for guests. Clean, easy parking and small private garden for relaxing in. The most comfortable bed I have had in holiday accommodation. Lovely quiet location within easy reach of the coast
There wasn't anything we were unhappy about.

John was a fantastic host - really friendly and helpful and gave us loads of good advice/tips about the local area. He also allowed us to check out a couple of hours late on our last day which was a life saver for us and very kind. The studio was perfectly sized, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed, including poop bags and treats for our dog!
I read a few reviews prior to going saying that a car was a must if staying here. We don’t drive and didn’t have any issues at all. The bus stop was just a short walk away and buses are every hour. It took around 15 mins into Lyme Regis and around 10 mins to Axminster and the journeys were pretty scenic.
Would 100% recommend!

Great accommodation for a few days, ideal for a base to visit Lyme to Sidmouth coast and surrounding areas.

Great peaceful location. Had everything we needed
Cleaning standard quite poor.
Very dusty in kitchen. Had to wash everything before we could use it.
Towels didn’t smell freshly washed.
Garden furniture dirty and rusty.

Great studio. Really quiet, clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Good base for exploring the local area. Car is essential though.

We had a lovely stay, had everything we needed and more. There were some great extras for the dog too which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again!

Was a very nice place. Dogs loved it and having an electric car charger really helps us as traveled down from the midlands. Would recommend and will be going back
